I remember myself as a 17-year-old raver frequently filling my weekends with Kompass parties and looking up from the front row in amazement at the DJs for whom I bought tickets to witness their sets. One night I took my friends close to me and told them “One day I will be standing here, but on the other side of the booth.'

With this little anecdote, I want to express my gratitude not only about last weekend, but the past year. It's incredible as a young, local DJ to be able to get such great opportunities and to chase my dream. I’m surrounded by people who love their job, who are passionate, who are professional, who have their own vision and share it with others. I’m grateful for my DJ colleagues of our generation, we are a close-knit group with respect, love and passion, we’re a musical family. I’ve learned so much from them, both as artists and friends. It's magical to see how the right mindset can bring about so much beauty and greatness. It’s magical to experience how through hard work and perseverance, actually anything is truly possible. It’s magical to be able to share my journey with y’all as well. It’s magical to be able to receive so much support and appreciation about something I’ve been working for so hard for years, about something that’s truly my home. For something I live for, for something I get up and go to sleep with every day. It’s magical to do what I love most, what I’ve always dreamed of doing, and it could never have been done without everyone standing
behind me.

It never hurts to look back at where you started from.
Thank you to everyone. For the trust, the support, the messages, the words, the energy, the love.

I am eternally grateful to all of you.

This is only just the beginning.❤️
