🍾Coutelas Champagne🍾 Another beautiful little gem hidden in the in the heart of the Marne Valley in the village champenoise Villers-sous-Châtillon that we visited, is the Maison “A.D.Coutelas” founded in 1809 by Louis Victor Coutelas. It’s been 8th generation of Coutelas’s family cultivating the grapes on 8 hectare of the vineyards. Three main Champagne grape varieties - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - offer a whole spectrum of subtle aromas, featuring the unique influences of this region. You can find those grapes meticulously proportioned in 6 main Champagnes of the house: Origin Brut, Louis Victor, Eloge Blanc de Blancs, Elixir Rosé, Vintage 2014 and our favourite - 1809 (with the elegant vintage-look bottle).
