To all the women I celebrate in my performance piece… and then there was EVE on ! Particularly, Julia Hill aka Julia Butterfly, an American activist best known for having climbed a 180 foot redwood tree to save it from being cut down. She lived in it for 738 days and in the end it was as much the redwood, she named Luna, that saved her as she it.

Presents new podcast - Susan Sontag
I am happy to announce the release of my latest podcast featuring my personal hero Susan Sontag. It is fortuitous that it happens to fall on International Women’s Day as her charasmatic and at times controversial persona shook the intellectual, cultural and societal norms of the day.
With the possibilty of war looming, a subject Sontag knew of first hand via her activism in Sarajevo during the Bosnian War and which she later wrote about in her essay « Regarding the pain of others » is a particulary poignant commentary that questions the role of images in the face of atrocity. While researching her I couldn’t help but to yearn for her voice now, the age of Instagram and You Tube and at a time when we need heros.

The thing is….I’m scared sh*tless! We are not dealing with a sane person. Putin has been preparing for this moment his entire life and now that he has the attention of the world he will not stop short of pushing a button. This is his final opus.
What’s worst…I don’t trust a single world power on the stage negotiating a diplomatic compromise. Why? Because there is gas involved. They are all manoeuvring to their own advantage.
So…This is a call to action. NWO stands for New World Order. This term came to be after the first World War and they made a mess of it then but I’m a firm believer in learning from mistakes. I’m ready for a global movement to shift power from these scary white men with mommy/daddy/anger issues to a community of scientists, geologists, historians, philosophers, economists, artists etc.. anything but what we have now.
Look how they handled the pandemic, climate change, world hunger etc…they are incapable and the system is broken.
We are at a pivotal moment and the average Ukranian citizen is on the ground for us all.
How can we help? How can we replace the current world order with a new one?

Day 5 Recording Jet Studio. It's a rap! We did it!!! With guest musician John Birdsong playing Cornet. Great bass by Alan Gevaert. Mean keys from every genre by Guy VanNeuten and amazing beats by drummer/producer Stephane Misseghers. It was a race to the finish line but we got it! Thanks to Rudy Coclet and Pierre Dozin for welcoming us at Jet Studio's. Next step...let you finally hear something! A little more patience....We still need to mix....but please hang in there. I'm a coming!
Day 4 Recording Jet Studio. We definitely feel at home here. More goofing around in this museum of vintage keyboards, selfies in the David Lynch-esque echo room. A good cocktail for inspiration! I'm not superstitious. Happy Friday 13th!!!
Day 3 Recording Jet Studio. Starting to make ourselves at home in this amazing space! Good vibes, three songs in 3 days...long days but worth the sleepless nights. Getting very excited to share with you! Stay tuned!
