🇧🇪Why Brussels?

🇮🇹 What is an Italian doing in Brussels?? Well I’ve got that question asked many times :)

In fact the Italian one is one of the biggest foreigner communities in Belgium! For a couple of reasons. But in my case, I moved here to progress in my career in engineering. I couldn’t imagine it before, but this small country has a lot to offer, and not only in terms of job opportunities, stability etc.

✈️ Especially Brussels, meeting point of so many different nationalities and cultures. And the reasons that bring you here can be very different. People who moved out from their own countries to learn and grow, to substantially improve their quality of life, for more extreme necessities etc.

This city has helped me open up my mind, meeting so many people with different stories and origins

🎶 Not the biggest physical collection, but I made this one with love

Started when I was 14-15 years old. One of my older brothers introduced me to blues and classic rock bands. Since then for a while I couldn't wait to buy a new cd every new week, listen to it and add it to my collection

🎸🎷🎹 Bands like the Led Zeppelin, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, as well as jazz legends like Miles Davis, Bill Evans and Charlie Parker. This is what was keeping me busy at the time. I needed to take new jazz and pop piano classes to put things in practice, my passion was firing up

This music would inspire me in every activity, make me dream every single time or just be there with me when nobody else was, helping me connect with my feelings instantly

Music has alwasy been there in my life, and this piano is where it all started 🎹

I went to music school since I was very little, as my parents both liked music very much, and wanted me and my older brothers to get to know it very early

It wasn't the most popular activity among my friends though and classic piano required lots of practice.
It then long stayed only a side activity for me...

Today this piano is one of the things that makes me happy the most when I come back to my family house in Italy, as I have the chance to play it again …..

🥳 Celebrating 1st anniversary of ENRY R Music

🎶 Music has always been my number one passion and about a year ago I decided I wanted to share this with the world!

Determined to release my first single I started sharing content and creating connections on social media, but this was only the beginning! During this year I managed to play more gigs than I could imagine, one of which of 2 hours length! I met and played with so many other great musicians, met so many people who share that same passion and who I admire. I made very good new friends. I collaborated with other musicians on a new single also out during this year, something also unexpected and unplanned, but precious and valuable. I learned a lot and will definitely bring all this in my heart and memories forever, and will keep going from here! 🚶🏻

Wherever your passion brings you, this could only be a good place for you and for those around you!

Thank you to all the people who were or are with me through this journey, at any level! ❤️….

What to say: just an amazing night and fantastic place discovered! You can make your short show, have fun sharing a more or less crowded stage with the other musicians, or just enjoy your beer and dance a little bit, surrounded by very supportive and cool people! 🧡 Absolutely recommended 😁
