This 15-piece band takes you back to the legendary performances in the New York Palladium and Tropicana in Havana. The band’s repertoire consists of a well-balanced mix of mambo, salsa and cha cha cha. Mambísimo Big Band consists of musicians from Cuba, Colombia, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. The band’s repertoire is a well-balanced mix of mambo, cha cha cha, bolero, danzón and latin jazz. Famous and less famous songs like Afro Blue, Ban Ban Quere, Sofrito and Azulito of musical scores by Tito Puente, Mario Bauzá and Mongo Santamaria are played.

trompetista, compositor y productor musical.
Natural del municipio Carlos Manuel de Céspedes, provincia de Camagüey, Cuba.
Tanto su abuelo Ireneo Julio González, como su tío Jorge Angel González y su padre Julio Jesús González son trompetistas profesionales.
Su carrera musical inició a los 10 años en la Escuela de Arte “Ñola Sahig Sainz” en la provincia de Ciego de Avila, iniciando su aprendizaje con el maestro Raul Díaz.
Posteriormente se traslada a la Escuela Vocacional de Arte "Luis Casas Romero" en la provincia de Camagüey, con los maestros Lázaro Daniel Cardoso Chávez y Antonio Baldoquín y Gustavo Barreras.
Desde abril de 2010 radica en Berlín, Alemania, comenzando su carrera como solista, compositor, arreglista y productor musical. Frecuentemente es invitado como solista o músico acompañante en diversas formaciones musicales.
Participa activamente en grabaciones, conciertos, productor musical y productor Audio-Visual bajo el sello TC Project (live music).
Como creador, presenta sus proyectos musicales con lineas auténticas de composición, bajo la influencia principalmente de la cultura y la música de Cuba.
