Langzaam maar zeker ben ik een collectie van vintage pareltjes aan het samenstellen. Ik vind het super leuk om op zoek te gaan naar die tijdloze, uitgepuurde stukken die de tand des tijds glansrijk hebben doorstaan door hun vormgeving en kwaliteit. Echte karakterstukken voor je interieur waarvan je voelt dat ze een arsenaal aan verhalen met zich meedragen. Ik wil nog niet te veel beloven, maar zeg toch graag voorzichtig: binnenkort meer van dat! 🤍

Dag 10 van Design Fest Gent! - De winkel is vandaag open t.e.m. 19:00. 🕖 - In het Design Museum kan je deze namiddag een Japanse theeceremonie bijwonen. 🍵⛩ - Het is ook de laatste kans om De Wilde Route te bewandelen en bewonderen. Een parcours langsheen 17 designshops in Gent, waar designers unieke creaties tentoonstellen die gemaakt zijn van de deadstocks van de winkels. Spring gerust eens binnen om de nieuwe producten te bekijken of zelfs te kopen. Je herkent de deelnemende shops aan de knaloranje stickers van Design Fest Gent. Gisteren deden we De Wilde Route van Design Fest Gent, samen met enkele andere Gentse ondernemers. En met plezier gaf ik zelf tekst en uitleg over de producten die wij voor het festival tentoonstellen.

Je hebt het misschien al zien passeren, misschien ook niet. Tot en met 1 mei is het Design Fest Gent. Een 10-daags festival waar design en duurzaamheid centraal staan. Er zijn workshops, lezingen, tentoonstellingen, en een expo route met unieke ontwerpen voor het festival, langsheen een 15-tal designwinkels. (De Wilde Route) Leuk voor interieur-liefhebbers! We doen er met Shortlist.store ook aan mee. De winkel is aanstaande dinsdag, zaterdag en zondag open tussen 11u en 19u. Je vindt ons in de Burgstraat 147 in Gent. Tot dan? /Joachim

These hand soaps smell so good! The one on the left is called wabi-sabi. It’s made from green tea, peppermint and pine needles. And the bottle on the right contains Finnish forest healing powers. Think of pine, juniper and spruce needles. Yum! Personal favourite 😍🌲

Na twee jaar gaat interieurwinkel van Joachim echt open: “Speciaal voor de feestperiode” Speciaal voor de eindejaarsperiode doet Joachim Van Durme (30) zijn winkel nu vier dagen in de week open. Hiervoor was dat slechts een dag. In de winkel vind je minimalistische en tegelijk betaalbare design spullen: van handdoeken uit Japan tot Gentse kaartjes.

We’re back on Saturday ✌🏼

In the quest of slowing down, we had a float session at ✨

It’s basically floating in body temperature saltwater in a light-proof, sound-proof chamber.

Eliminating the external stimuli, floating allows you to quiet the brain’s normal responses to the chaos of the everyday world. This lets you slow down, and enter a deeply relaxed state. It has stress-relieving qualities, similar to deep meditation.

We're off to the North, recharging energy during a slow holiday.

Therefore the shop will be exceptionally closed Saturday the 21st of August. Webshop orders also will be delayed.
