Lloyd's Register recognizes BeHydro dual-fuel engines as safe and emission saving up to 85%. As a result of this excellent cooperation, we continue to develop our dual-fuel and single-cylinder hydrogen technologies. An important step forward in the decarbonisation process!
BeHydro engine with potential to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 85% Following a preliminary review of the engine documentation, LR awarded BeHydro with an Approval in Principle (AIP) which enabled BeHydro to proceed to final development.

BeHydro pioniert met duale diesel-waterstof motor In Gent hebben motorenbouwer ABC en rederij CMB een nieuwe generatie motoren voorgesteld, die zowel op waterstof als op diesel werken. Het zou gaan om een wereldprimeur. De ontwikkeling kan leiden tot een massale vergroening van schepen, treinen en elektriciteitsgeneratoren.
