During our last workshop week in Antwerp, I mounted this adorable little labrador puppy. I finished him at home and added a little friend for him; a little miniature teddy.

He lays on a wooden base, together with vintage fabric, buttons, fake flowers, winnie the pooh text and a handmade pillow.

About a month ago I was wondering what I should do for our Christmas card design-wise. Last year I photographed the boys in Christmas costumes, so of course they had to be the center of attention once again! I found a vintage postcard of two dachshunds with a Christmas tree and that became my inspiration for this year’s card!

Can you spot us in the background as well?

I’ll be taking a bit of time off next week to enjoy the Holidays and relax a little after a (very, very busy) events season. I might reply to messages a little late because of this.

These heavy plaster frames are probably my favorite kind of frames when it comes to looks, but I tend to choose others because they tend to be difficult to open/rework/clean/close/… just everything about them is difficult but oh so pretty!

My first time experimenting with making a teddy look old! I think he turned out so lovely & vintage looking. Anyone else who always just loves those super old teddy bears ar vintage shops that almost fall apart from being that old? I’m also so in love with the coral color of the flowers I used & the tiny butterfly!

I believe I’ve done it once before on my art account, but I can’t seem to find it so I think I only posted it onto my stories, which isn’t very weird as I’m pretty awkward about being photographed most of the time.

Anyway here’s a little photo of me that I took in the car before picking up my friends to go to the Efteling back at the start of November! Around it I decided to display some works I’ve made recently and that have my signature ‘light’ style. I could make an entirely different art vs artist with my fairy-like creations, but I prefer to see this style on my feed! 🤍

With 2022 coming to an end, I want to celebrate my first year as a small business owner!

I’ve started this account back in 2020 and sold some creations every now and then, but nothing much. Last year I decided it was time to make things official and take the biggest jump of my life. I often am still so scared about all the ‘business’ stuff that I have to deal with now, but I remind myself to take a deep breath and to know that everything will be fine!

My last event of this year! De Duystere Markt!

It has been quite a busy year filled with lovely events, and I’m happy to be closing off 2022 at Belgium’s curiosity market! I’ve been busy preparing & making new creations for Sunday (very last minute as always) and I can’t wait to show you all the lovely things that’ll be for sale!

And yes although the market is literally called the ‘dark’ market, I will of course be bringing quite the opposite, which will be my romantic & light creations! 🤍✨

You’ll be able to find me in the upstairs hall of the venue, next to my friends & 🦢 Downstairs you’ll find my dear friend and also and her lovely dark creations!

For this lovely frame my boyfriend really wanted to try and use a piece of wood as the background. As always I was a bit hesitant about the idea at first but it turned out super lovely! 🤍 Inside is a greenish-yellow luna moth with a little chip missing from its wing.
