This genet got very curious of our braai.
It came over with a lot of confidence, it is clearly used to humans being around, but please don't feed wildlife in national parks, they are not pets!

Not your average ostrich.
The Somali ostrich is the lesser known of the 2 recognized ostrich species.
Males are easily identified by their blue head, females are a bit harder to ID

I was having a pretty quiet morning in the Kruger when this big tusker suddenly appeared next to our car. I think he must have some of the biggest tusks I have ever seen in the park! I even went to the elephant museum to try and ID him, but we couldn't figure it out.
Anyone of you have more experience with Kruger elli's?

Hyenas can be just as cute as any other animal in the bush. I loved the tenderness of this pup and her babysitter!

This was the view from the the lodge swimming pool when we arrived in thornybush. I was a bit suprised to be honest!
We saw the lions at the waterhole during our game drive, but since it was my first drive there I didn't realize this was the waterhole in front of our lodge😅
Awesome experience!

SWIPE to get sucked in to the photo!
These superb starlings were a bit confused by their reflections in the front element of my lens.
I bought a wide lens recently to allow me to get more creative with my shots, so far I am really enjoying the results!
Do you like this type of photos?

Last light of the day spent well with this one-eyed leopard.
There is something so beautiful about the inperfections , it makes this leopard different from all the others!
Share if you think she deserves the extra love!

Craziest sighting of my latest kruger trip!
I love how the group of zebra stands out in the massive herd of wildebeest. Witnessing the crossings was something I had been looking forward to for a very long time, it was absolutely insane!!

I have never posted a wild cheetah before.
Cheetahs are so hard to find and even harder to photograph. I never really apreciated how special they are before this insane sighting a couple weeks ago. We were lucky enough to see Nashipae, one of the most famous cheetahs in Kenya, with her 3 cubs. She even made a kill right in front of us!
Another insane sighting with and

Mijn eerste boek is eindelijk af!

One of the rare occasions I can't decide between color or black and white.
I really like the clean and calm look of the black and white version, but the other is in color and i like colors....
What do you prefer?

When I asked if we had any chance of seeing a serval, this was not what I expected!
We saw a serval mom hunting and bringing food to her young cub.
Servals are nocturnal, so the sighting happened in very low light. I still managed to get some good shots, I think this one is my favorite!
What an amazing sighting
