Few things I wanna say in particular about this album

Growing up, I wasn’t raised in Chiraq or anything comparable to the streets of Compton. Though spending all my elementary years at a school in a bad neighborhood, it got me exposed to gang culture and various different affiliations. Later on in life it seemed like everybody I was close to was starting to grow this fascination of wanting to be with the s**ts. So best believe I tried to hop on that wave lol but my weird ass could never fit in with any of the cliques 😂

I’ve always looked at this album as a good portrayal of what it was like for kids that grew up in the struggle but never got too involved with any of the hot s**t that comes with it.

This will forever be one of my favorite body’s of work.
Kendrick Lamar will forever be king. 🤴🏿

If it wasn’t for music, these internal struggles we’ve been forced to take on would be harder to deal with.

Our state of minds would begin to crumble and reality as we know it would be one giant state of bleakness.

If it wasn’t for music, I feel I wouldn’t have anything genuine to give to this world. Completing a song that meets my satisfaction goal is one of the only ways to get the lightbulb in my head to brighten, now suddenly…my perception of every day life isn’t so dim.

It can be a very abstract and mysterious form of art, and to me, that’s just the beauty of it. There are no boundaries when it comes to creating an audio masterpiece. It’s a great way to really exercise different methods of creativity that we didn’t even know were within us this whole time.

I like to tell myself that I would’ve done things a lot differently these past few years if I had the chance to do so. Gaining knowledge and getting to know other like minded artists around the globe should have been on my to do list a long time ago.

I hope this form of art stays with me for as long as my hearing stays in good shape.

A moment of appreciation to all of the musical artists around the world who’ve made work that can turn any bad mood into a brief state of happiness.

I’ve always felt my goal in life should be to give back and try and make others feel the way I do when listening to something I love, but even if I never reach the goal I’ve been shooting for, at least I can say I was happy while doing it 🙂
