The attire of a Borana lady during the naming ceremony:
-Qaalima and imu(umu) - necklaces
-Meeta and saldaqaa - bracelets and hand jewelries.
-Koome - foot jewelry
She should also carry a Siinqee (Siiqee) stick as a symbol of feminine powers and rights under the Gadaa democratic system.
