End of the season for me! Very happy with my first, hard but beautiful, season for . I am satisfied with my 3 victories and 8 podiums, but even more pleased with the progress I have made. I will try my best to continue this step by step and I am looking forward to next year!

Absolutely gutted to have to leave this Vuelta early. I was finally coming along with my injuries from my first crash and was actually feeling really good and on my way of making the time limit. But then I crashed again, this time in a descent and into a ravine. I hopped back on my bike but the pain was unbearable and therefore I had to abandon and was brought to the hospital. These last 8 days were not my luckiest, but I fought like a lion and really did everything I could, unfortunately it didn’t last.

I would like to thank all the team and staff for this week, especially and for always staying with me

I’m now returning home to recover and I hope to be back racing in Koolskamp on 16 september!
