‼️RIDER SPOTLIGHT‼️
Hey, my name is Mattie Duckworth! I'm from Old Fort, North Carolina and I'm 19 years old. I currently work as a Vet Tech and I break mules/horses in my free time! I got on my first bull in October of 2022, started riding consistently in January 2023 and have now been at it a year! Once I got on my first bull the adrenaline addiction started. There's not many women's deals close by so I usually ride any open bull riding I can find! I love the way the women's side of this sport is evolving and I'm excited to see what the 2024 season holds!
‼️RIDER SPOTLIGHT‼️
My name is Athena Rivera. I am a passionate bull rider with a heart as daring as the arena. 3 years ago I kicked off my journey in barrel racing. I quickly learned that I desired more from the spirit of rodeo. I was drawn toward the adrenaline and power of bull riding and fell in love.
With unwavering determination, I entered this cowboy dominated sport seeking equality, proving that passion knows no gender. Every stride, every victory is a testament to the strength of resilience and the triumph of breaking through barriers in pursuit of my cowgirl dreams.
Join me as I embrace the wild ride of life and break into the new era of Elite Lady Bull Riders!!!
My name is Renata Nunes, I'm 19 years old. I live in Marietta, Oklahoma, but my family is from Brazil, I was born there, I grew up here in the Texas region, after the age of 18 I moved to Oklahoma. I started riding sheep I got my first buckle in 2009, in 2015 I started riding calves, but only in training, never in rodeo. This final will be my first rodeo to compete in bullriding, I'm looking forward to this event and to meet the other girls

My name is Weslea Murawski-Hatler, I am 14 years old, a high school freshman and call Western New York home. I started my rodeo passion when I was a little girl doing little girl things and bringing home trophies for barrel racing, but things quickly changed when I was living in Texas and now, I am getting buckles for bulls. A couple years ago I was introduced to bull riding by some awesome people who have really helped me achieve my goals and have become an extended family to me.
I moved back to Western New York in 2022 and shortly after, in 2023 I won the Beat the Beast Women’s Division. With the help of my parents and grandparents along with my home pen (Cross Over the Line Rodeo Company in Warsaw, NY.) I cannot wait to see what the 2024 season has in store for me.

My name is Alexia Huffman and I’m a U.S. Army Officer in the 82nd Airborne Division. I am very grateful to be able to serve the people of this country and ride bulls. I started riding sheep and calves in Norco, CA when I was five years old. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wyoming and commissioned into the Army shortly after. I strive to be the best in everything I do and I want to motivate others to do the same.

My name is Shyloe Lavallee, I’m 20 years old from Warren Ontario, Canada. I am a former show jumper who transitioned over to bull riding when I had to retire my mare in 2019. I am now part of the Blacktop Outlaws rodeo team here in Ontario and am incredibly grateful and proud to represent this brand. The sport of rodeo and riding bulls have become a huge part of my life and is something that I hold very close to my heart. When I started riding I would try to hide the fact that I was a girl in the arena by tying my hair up and wearing neutral colours as I hated being different, however over time I’ve learnt to embrace what makes me different and am now known as “the girl in pink” by announcers and spectators at every rodeo due to all my pink gear… everything has pink. Partially due to the fact that I love the colour, but more importantly to support those around me who have overcome or continue to fight their battle with breast cancer. We don’t have any women’s divisions in our rodeo circuits here in Ontario so this was the first year that I got to compete against other girls (state side, in New York) and I couldn’t be more excited to get to ride alongside all these girls from all over the world at Finals. Over the past few years, I travelled many miles every weekend to train and compete in rodeos all over Southern Ontario and New York and was able to clinch the 2021 and 2022 Women’s Championship titles at the County Extreme Bulls Jackpot Series and qualified for finals finishing 3rd in the Cross Over the Line Summer Series this season in Alden New York. I’m super thankful to my sponsors for believing in me and everyone who has played a part in making me the rider I am now and to the Elite Lady Bull Rider association for giving all of us this opportunity to push ourselves as riders and make our mark in the sport of bull riding.

‼️RIDER SPOTLIGHT‼️
Hello, my name is Brianna Vander Meer and i’m from Fort Erie Ontario. I’m a welder by day and teach kids to ride horses by night. I first started my rodeo journey about 3 years ago when we decided to hold one of our own at our family farm. I remember thinking WOW riding bulls looks pretty cool but it can’t be as hard as these boys are making It look (I was wrong). I have only been riding bulls for about a year now and I absolutely love it. Not only because of how cool this sport is but because of the amazing women I get to compete with and learn from.
One of my biggest goals for the 2024 season is to inspire more girls to start bull riding up in Ontario, so that we can hopefully have our own women’s divisions to compete in at rodeos. I am honoured to be apart of this crazy cool group of girls and am super excited to see what this next year has to offer!
Good Morning Everyone!

My name’s Samantha Gibson, I’m from Ontario, Canada and in my rookie season I started riding in early 2023 and since getting on my first bull I haven’t been able to stop. My home pen is County Xtreme Bulls where I regularly ride their jackpot and buckle series, as well as attend practice. This year I’ve been privileged to be invited to the Blacktop Outlaws Invitational, ride in the RAM rodeo tour and compete in the Cross Over the Line buckle series. I’m going into my second season sponsored by The Hat Effect, which under their guidance has helped me train with world champions across the country. I've partnered with Hardcore Candy Inc. To help provide women and girls with a space to get into bullriding and bring more ladies into the sport going forward. With so much going on in just my start up year I can’t wait to see what’s in store in the future. I’ve met some amazing cowgirls and cowboys and the shows just begun. Stay tuned.
