As a resident DJ at W Fest and with references from Den Bolhoed in Ypres and LP in Ghent, VetZ Aksje takes you on an unforgettable journey back to the 80s. He is also a passionate organizer of his annual New Wave parties with its 7 editions and its various concerts.

𝗗𝗝 𝗯𝗼𝗼-𝗹𝗲𝗲

DJ boo-lee spent much of his childhood in front of his dad’s stereo, filling tapes with ’80s chart hits. As he grew up, both his musical taste and wardrobe coloured black. Nowadays he spins on the most diverse events, from goth parties to weddings. He will serve you an eclectic mix of post-punk, gothic rock, synthpop and dark electronica. Both well known tunes and more obscure stuff, but always very danceable!

𝗗𝗝 𝗠𝗮𝘅𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗼

DJ Maxalto was born in the 60s, raised in the 70s and is addicted to music since the 80s. He will take you on a trip through the world of new wave, with danceable music from the late 70s to the present day, light and dark, cheerful and gloomy, playing the unknown numbers of the known groups and the known numbers of the unknown groups. His trademark is to combine classics and more recent releases and to provide well-balanced sets that include both hits and alternative tracks.

Imagine yourself back in the underground new wave parties with DJ VANOnoise. A passion he has been practicing since he was 14 and still practices it with heart and soul. Started on the radio with his father, meanwhile modestly grown into a permanent member of the batcave boys and resident DJ at W Fest.

Next Saturday, Batcave Boy DJ Maxalto will DJ together with DJ Zanni at their own epic event: the legendary New wave party Aalst!

Come early because young female guest DJ Linde will start the party and there will also be a live performance by Belgian gothic rock band ERATO!

And yet another female DJ, RedAlert, a true icon of the Belgian goth scene, will close the party with some excellent tunes.
