**I’m back home after my ACL surgery yesterday, and everything went well! 🌟**

At 9 AM, my girlfriend dropped me off in Antwerp. I had been fasting since the morning for my surgery scheduled at 1 PM. The operation, which included both general anesthesia and partial anesthesia in my leg, lasted two hours.

After spending a night in the hospital, I was able to come home this afternoon. My girlfriend came to support me after her work last night, and it meant the world to me – she’s the best. Today, my dad picked me up from the hospital and brought me home.

Now, I’m managing the pain at home with the help of my best friend, Dafalgan.

**It’s going to be a long road to recovery, but I’m incredibly motivated to rebuild and take this opportunity to work on my weaknesses.**

Hey everyone,

I just got my results from the doctor, and it’s not what I hoped for. My anterior and medial cruciate ligaments are completely torn, and a part of my meniscus is damaged... Damn... 😔

But there’s a silver lining! This is 100% recoverable. First up is surgery, followed by a long road of rehab. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but I’m staying positive and determined to come back stronger. 💪

Lots of physiotherapy sessions are ahead to get everything strong before my surgery on 24/06/2024.

A massive, heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports, stands by, and helps me through this. It means the world and more. This is just a bump in the road.

✨ Recap FC Goudargues
Two weekends ago, I participated in the French Championship in Goudargues, together with the trial club from Bréal . It was a tough competition, but I learned a lot from it. Each time, I’m amazed by how much more spectacular the steps and obstacles are compared to those in small Belgium... 😲
I want to thank for my new competition outfit, I love it! What do you think? 💙
Currently, I’m intensely preparing for the next Belgian championship competition, which will take place in Bilstain in two weeks. I’m really looking forward to it. 💪

❤️ trots op de Bruggelingen ❤️

Dat Brugge zich tot één van de sportiefste centrumsteden mag noemen bleek recent uit de resultaten van de driejaarlijkse Gemeente-Stadsmonitor: ongeveer 60% van de ondervraagde Bruggelingen gaf aan minstens wekelijks te sporten. Meer nog, ongeveer een derde van de ondervraagden gaf aan dagelijks actief te bewegen...💪

Op woensdag 28 maart werden de sportlaureaten van 2023 in de bloemetjes gezet in de Brugse Stadsschouwburg. De huldiging van de kampioenen werd afgewisseld met demonstraties van Circusatelier Woesh, Azimés Bellydance en Emile Mattheeuws . Update Alert! 🚨 Last weekend, I managed to pick up a little souvenir: a tear in my ligament of my right thumb. Surgery is planned this Friday. Not the plot twist I was hoping for during winterseason, but it only fuels my determination to bounce back stronger. 💪 Life may throw 🔄 curveballs, but I’m ready to swing! Stay tuned for the comeback journey...

🇫🇷 Reflecting on the past weekend in Vertolaye

Saturday started with a hiccup as I lost track of time during the first lap. 🕒 But I am very happy how my second round turned out. On Saturday, I finished 26th.
Sunday, though, brought its own set of challenges. A good start quickly turned into a challenging one with a fall, and I ended up with a painful thumb. Still, I continued, but I knew I couldn't unleash my full potential.

In the end, I'm choosing to focus on the positives. 🌟 It was a valuable weekend of learning and growing, and I'm grateful for every moment. 🙌

Yesterday, I ended up 1st at the third round of the Belgian championship! I'm thrilled with my riding skills and the connection I felt with my bike. 🤩 , thanks a lot for the support!

I'm really pleased with my performance on both days. Saturday was all about the sunshine 🌞, while Sunday brought the rain ☔️.
Now, it's time to convert the good riding and feeling into an even better result.

What an incredible experience it was! I had the opportunity to participate in the 3rd race of the world championships held in Japan 🇯🇵 last weekend. The thrill of being on the bike was simply indescribable, and I couldn't be happier with how both days went. However, I know there's still room for improvement and more to give.

Now, it's time to set our sights on the next challenge in San Marino 🇸🇲. I'm excited to continue pushing myself and see what I can achieve in the upcoming race.

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this unforgettable trip possible. Special thanks go out to for their support and guidance throughout the journey. And, of course, I'm incredibly grateful to my dad for always being there for me, both on and off the track.
