We’ve been low key going on a bubble tea tour for the last month because of my [Rynelle] obsession with boba 🧋

Daron isn’t really a fan but he’s still willing to make a quick stop to satisfy my cravings 😋

We heard about the hype surround .trinidad ‘s boba and as soon as I had the opportunity, I went to try it🤗

Honestly, this comes in at a closeeeee second to one of the best brown sugar milk boba’s I’ve ever tasted 🤩 it’s sugary and refreshing. — and the boba is cooked perfectly, with a slight sweetness in every pearl 🥺

Daron tried it (because I make him try all even though he hates tea 😅) and guess what?! — he still wasn’t a fan 😅

Maybe one day I’ll convert him 🤞🏽

Are you a boba lover? ⬇️

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that we’ve recently become huge fans of , a food truck based in Piarco, that offers restaurant quality comfort food, on wheels 🚚

We’ve tried their wings, subs and sandwiches, but finally decided to give them a well deserved (permanent) spot on the feed by trying their signature buffalo wings and french toast, with maple bleu cheese syrup and their 1/2 pound surf and turf burger 🍔

✅THE PROS - The wings were perfect. Fall off the bone 🦴 and the Buffalo flavor wasn’t too overpowering or tart like others we’ve tried. It paired perfectly with the sweet maple syrup and the soft, fluffy french toast. We understand now why it’s their signature!

🍔 This was the first time we had our burger medium well (usually it’s well done) and honestly, I’m not sure we’re ever going back 😭 it was juicy, well seasoned and incredibly easy to eat (I guess that’s why Daron only gave me one bite 😒😒)
It’s seasoned with a bit of cinnamon which is surprisingly tasty 🤤 The bread was soft, the shrimp was perfectly cooked and not rubbery — in addition to being well seasoned. Truly the epitome of comfort food 🤩

❌ THE CONS - The only con we could find with these two meals was that it finished too fast; or maybe we’re just greedy 🙈 As always, taste is subjective, but the seasoning never lacks, and neither does the customer service.

💵Cost: $65 for the French toast and $90 for the surf and turf (with fries)
📍Piarco, opposite the gas station ⛽️
💙OFB Stamp of Approval: ✅

This is one place that we swear by, the fried chicken sandwich, the burgers and the wings never ever miss!

Thank you for your continued hospitality and honestly great food !!

This weekend, we tried a new food spot by the name of to try their alcohol infused wings!

We tried their white oak grapefruit and pineapple infused wings with fries, fresh salad and boiled corn 🌽

✅THE PROS - The grapefruit wings were a clear winner, it had almost a floral, citrusy taste to it, with a kick of spice, which was very pleasant. The pineapple was sweet and had a stronger alcohol taste, but you couldn’t really taste the pineapple that well.

❌ THE CONS - Even though the wings were tasty, the flavor wasn’t soaked in to the meat itself, but it isn’t really an issue as the alcohol infused glaze was bursting with flavor! Also, the rest of the meal (fries, salad etc) were pretty decent, nothing really stood out. 🤷🏾‍♀️

💵Cost: $75TTD for one box, but you can order a portion of wings for $55TTD
📍Penal, but they deliver to most areas across the island.
💙OFB Stamp of Approval: ✅

These wings were really tasty! Especially the grapefruit which had a unique flavor. We’d definitely pick up a portion when we’re in South again.

What’s your thoughts on alcohol infused food? Would you try it? 🤔

Have you tried the NEW quesadillas at ?!

Last weekend we paid a visit to the new branch in San Fernando, to try wrapworks’ newest menu item — the quesadilla. It’s your typical cheesy, crispy quesadilla but filled with their FAMOUS sauces 🤩 I (Rynelle) had chipotle bbq, Cajun and Mexican in my chicken quesadilla which added a nice spice, while Daron added shadon Beni, aioli garlic and teriyaki tamarind to his.

Both tasted amazing but YA’LL, the shrimp 🍤 quesadilla was SO good 🤤🤤🤤 the shrimp itself was nicely flavored and the sauces just added such an elevated flavor profile 🤩 we practically *inhaled* those quesadillas 😂

Thankfully, we also got a chicken wrap and a burrito (which we tried previously) and it slapped the sameee way it did when we initially had it. Honestly, we love this place 🥺 the customer service was phenomenal and the food has been consistently great so far.

If you haven’t tried the quesadillas yet, we HIGHLY recommend. Let us know your thoughts!!

You’ve never had a sandwich melt as good as the ones at at Barakah Grounds 🤤🤩

There are so many reasons why we love eating here. Not only is it incredibly clean and halal, but the food is prepared in front of you and the customer service is amazing!

Daron ordered a chicken melt and I [Rynelle] got beef and trust me when I tell you….. this is the SMOOTHEST beef sandwich we’ve ever tasted in our lives.

The bread was soft and buttery, 🥖 the cheese (which contains no dairy) was soft and stretchy, 🧀 and all the ingredients tied together so perfectly, our taste buds couldn’t even understand how something could hit all the right spots 😩

If you’ve never been to Grilliant, this is your sign!!! You can’t go wrong with ANYTHING on their menu.

These were about $65 per sandwich. But it’s packed with goodness and we think we definitely got our money’s worth!

How good do these look? 😍

If you’re from the East, you know that is a staple for food, drinks and limes🍻🍔

We’ve eaten here during the lockdown more times than we’d like to admit 😅 but one of our tried and true favorites has always been their spicy BBQ and BBQ wings 😍

These wings are flavorful and HUGE 🤤 and since we always get a portion of them whenever we’re ordering anything (they have great wontons too 😋) we decided that they were overdue for a feature.

A couple weeks ago we tried birria tacos 🌮 for the first time!

These tacos became popular on social media during the last few months, so naturally, we had to see what all the hype was about 😁

We arranged with who is based in San Fernando and got 3 birria tacos for $55
(Although we had to pay delivery even though we were in south..and driving🙃 so we technically paid $85 for these tacos, but I digress 😅 a small sacrifice)

The tacos itself included a spicy dipping sauce, goat meat and a special cheese.

As a whole, it tasted great! The cheese definitely tied everything together and the sauce added a nice kick that wasn’t too spicy.

I was expecting the goat to be a bit more seasoned but maybe because I [Rynelle] am not an avid goat eater 🐐 but other than that it was delicious 😋

We don’t have anything else to really compare it to, so maybe we’ll try it again in the future to really determine if it’s worth the hype or not 🤔

Have you tried birria yet? Let us know what you thought of it in the comments ⬇️

Have you every tried a volcano burger? 👀🌋

took a creative approach to revamping the average burger. Instead he decided to make a burger with a sunroof 🤣. He filled its' center with delicious add-ons like shrimp, seasoned fries, mac and cheese, buffalo wings and even steak!

The first duo we tried was the seasoned fries tornado burger and the shrimp. 🍤🍟

For me [Daron] it was 10/10 😩. The shrimp had a nice flavor, was well cooked and complemented the well seasoned burger patty. It was like a party in your mouth, with all the flavors combined.🤩

Rynelle loved the fries burger so much that we wanted to order another one immediately - it was THAT good.

We headed back for round 2 and bought the mac and cheese and steak. 🥩🧀

I had the mac and cheese, and unsurprisingly, it was great 👍🏾 It was creamy and nice, I didn’t expect that odd combo to work so well but the taste was on point. However, it was fun but a tad bit messy to eat. It really lived up to its name ‘Volcano’ 🤣

Unfortunately, the steak missed the mark for Rynelle as it was a bit dry and rubbery. For the price point [$75] the steak wasn't the star of the show as she was hoping. 😕

The price of these burgers range from $45 - $75, a bit pricey for it to be an every-day type of run, but we HIGHLY recommend you trying these burgers at least once.
It's worth the experience! 😍

How amazing do these look?! 🤤 Tag a friend you’d love to try these with!

We recently scored the PERFECT treat for this rainy weather 🌧

What better way to turn a cold evening into a fun date night than roasting some marshmallows and making S’MORES 😍

This adorable s’mores kit from was PERFECT for a quarantine-style date night! It came with graham crackers, marshmallows, chocolate and strawberries — plus special matchsticks and a candle for you to roast your own marshmallows.

This was our first time making s’mores, and we had so much fun using this kit! I[Rynelle] The marshmallows were fluffy and sweet, and when combined with the crackers and chocolate, it melded together beautifully 🤩

We definitely recommend trying this out if you’ve never had s’mores before, and you’re looking for a fun way to spice up your small get-togethers

Would you try this?! Let us know in the comments 😋

Our Saturday adventures led us to Chaguanas where we came across the popular !!

We’ve been wanting to review them for quite some time, but never actually planned for it. Luckily, I [Daron] made a wrong turn and led us right to them. 😅

We decided to try their chicken nachos with added pineapple and mushrooms. 🍄🍍
Unsurprisingly, it tasted great! The added pineapple was a great choice as the sweetness complemented the salty tortilla chips.

Although we were expecting the sauce to be on top of the nachos, it turned out to be a wise choice to put it at the side, because it prevented the nachos from getting soggy.

Most importantly, it was filling. The huge portion cost $45 and was shareable, which is great when you have a greedy girlfriend like Rynelle 😂

Now that we know where they are, trying some more items off their menu is a must!

Would you try these loaded nachos? 👀 Let us know in the comments.

Last weekend we made an impromptu stop at in Gasparillo 📍

And if we’re being honest….it was both a hit AND a miss.
Daron got their popular honey mustard Chick’n Cone tenders and I {Rynelle} decided to try something on the spicier side and got their sriracha wings along with a portion of “pepper” fries.

Let’s start with the good — the honey mustard tenders were delicious! The sauce was rich and creamy, easily one of the best honey mustard flavored anything we’ve had (naturally, Daron didn’t want to share with me 🙄) We can definitely understand why it’s one of their most popular!!

Now, the sriracha wings and ‘pepper’ fries left a lot to be desired. The wings weren’t spicy at all, which confused me and they were extremely salty to the point where I didn’t even finish them. The fries, which I had assumed would be a Hong Kong style fries, was also underwhelming. It also was not spicy, and mainly just had some fresh green herbs on it, (two) pieces of onion and (one) piece of a yellow pepper somewhere in the mix.

Daron and I had two complete opposite end of the spectrum experiences here 😅 But thankfully, I believe in second chances and the honey mustard tenders impressed me enough to give them another go whenever we’re in the south lands again. (Maybe I’d do like Daron and play it a little safer when it comes to choosing flavors 😔)

What’s your go-to wing flavor?? Let us know in the comments!
