Here at Yamas we aren’t just about beautiful off grid, container house accommodation; we are peace, tranquility, dark skies and bright stars, breathtaking scenery and sunsets. We are being back with nature and getting away from the ‘noise’ of everyday life. We are stillness, we are breath.

Our guests picked the olives, watched them being turned into oil and today tasted the oil.

You take local bread, add pepper, salt, and plenty of oregano. Add the oil straight from the vat, top with amazing Parmesan and give your taste buds the most amazing experience. Oh and add red wine…

Well we are done (for now). A mosaic patio to be completed and some pictures etc but today this is it. So very proud of what we have all achieved from two shipping containers used for our house build. The ultimate in recycling…

18 October 2021 was the first day this house became a home. Exactly two years later and the first guests will be joining us in the container house.

Il 18 ottobre 2021 è stato il primo giorno in cui questa casa è diventata una casa. Esattamente due anni dopo i primi ospiti si uniranno a noi nella casa container.

This afternoon our beautiful lava stone worktop and built in sink arrived. Wow it was heavy, but looks amazing. Thanks to Alessandro Carubia for his amazing workmanship.



Questo pomeriggio è arrivato il nostro bellissimo piano di lavoro in pietra lavica e costruito nel lavandino. Wow, era pesante, ma sembra incredibile. Grazie ad Alessandro Carubia per la sua straordinaria lavorazione.
