Our shop manager Gilian is a true enthusiast of iconic design, and one of the most notable partnerships he admires is with Verner Panton.

One of the most notable partnerships is with Verner Panton, which began in the early 1960s. Together, they developed what would become Panton's best-known design—the iconic Panton Chair—introduced in 1967. This collaboration not only marked a significant milestone for Panton but also represented Vitra's first independently developed product, setting the stage for a legacy of innovative and enduring design.

Charles and Ray Eames often addressed the needs of their friends in their designs. This was the case with the Eames La Fonda Group, created in 1961 for their friend Alexander Girard, who was designing a new restaurant in New York City called La Fonda del Sol.

🦓 Zebra is one of Artek 's earliest and still most famous textiles. And one of our favourites.

Vitra Partner Store Antwerp provided the furniture for the restaurant. Together, we selected design classics such as the Eames Plastic Chairs and Moca chairs from Vitra, as well as the Domus chair and Atelier bar stool from Artek. All of these are timeless pieces that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. 🫧
