2/3!! Chachou here! This is the main course of this beautiful banner for the Octopruse profile page. This version of the is called Sunshine and I think it's one of the liveliest versions there is! It's got this gorgeous pink/purple and orange/yellow color palette that will make ANYONE obsessed with it. I know I am. If I could I'd steal it and chomp it down. Eat it. Like a piece of rice paper. It would be yummy! Strawberry flavoured I think. But it's never "follow your heart, Chachou" or "do what you love, Chachou". Chachou here! We are SO back, folks. So yeah, you guessed it, the pattern will be that of a STAR QUILT YAYYYYY. This quilt is designed to be COLOURFUL and it's especially nice if you do a nice gradient with your colours. So if you're running low on colour palette ideas, just pick a nice easy gradient and the result will be PERFECT. Do you want to see more of this? Are you excited? Thrilled? Exhilarated? Animated? Electrified? Uh... enlivened? I'm running out of synonyms here, sorry. But are you??? If you are, you'll be happy to know that after the big reveal of this quilt you'll get to see loads and loads more with different colours because the devil works hard, but Octopurse works harder. When my friend Christine told me at the beginning of 2023 that she had cancer, it was like a punch in the face. My sense of helplessness was immense, accentuated by the ocean that separates us. But she fought like a lioness and won! I couldn't miss the pattern that came out of this battle, and it was a real pleasure to test it! It's so tessellate textile-esque!
