From November 28 to 30, the seminar 'The future of ' took place in Uganda.
Organised by the Institute of Development Policy and funded by the by the Belgian Development Cooperation's Special Evaluation Office (SEO), the event united 50 leading M&E professionals from 15 countries. It was designed to empower professionals in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) by addressing the then-current challenges and exploring future opportunities in this domain.
Attendees had the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, topical sessions, ideas' lab & co-creation workshops, and an evaluation fair.

The past week marked the successful start of the 14th edition of Antwerp Summer University. We are thrilled to see the program off to such a promising beginning, with participants from around the world converging for an enriching learning experience!
The summer school Companies Crossing Borders organised by UAntwerpen - Faculteit Rechten attracted a diverse group of 20 participants, hailing from the following countries: Holland, Italy, Brazil, India, Poland, Greece, Belgium, Slovenia, Czech Republick and Germany. π π π π
Over the course of the coming weeks, participants of other 10 summer schools will engage in rigorous academic coursework, practical workshops, networking opportunities and social activities. This multifaceted approach ensures a holistic learning experience, empowering them to excel in their respective fields and embrace the challenges of an interconnected world.

The conference is organised every couple of years by the International Aquatic Plants Group (IAPG), an interest group whose members specialise in all aspects of aquatic plant science, including botany, genetics, ecology, physiology, conservation and management.
The upcoming conference will be held in Belgium (Antwerp) from the 13th - 17th of November 2023 and promises to be another exciting event, where new scientific advances in aquatic plant science will be shared in a collegiate atmosphere that facilitates discussion, debate and collaboration.
