Buying berries in bulk when they are on special and then freezing them in freezer bags for smoothies,pancakes and oat bowls has been my biggest saving hack!!

Not only does it save you money but you waste less because they stay fresher for longer.

Today I had a banana that was almost to the end of its lifespan so I whipped up some banana cinnamon pancakes

I substituted the butter & sugar in my recipe with a tablespoon of Simple Truth Coconut Oil and Some Simple Truth Coconut sugar

Oh the rollercoaster that is motherhood!!

One minute we’re in La La Land the next it’s a full on war zone!!

One minute we’re in heaven and the next I swear I’m in hell but it still feels like heaven...

One moment we’re laughing at the top of our lungs and the next we’re both crying!!

This is the reality of motherhood!!
I’ve had the most challenging week...lots of tears from both ends had me wondering is this teething or a preview to the infamous “Terrible Two’s”

I’ve questioned myself,doubted my abilities as a mom or just totally shutdown but everyday I woke up feeling stronger and a little more optimistic because “she just cried...she didn’t kill me”

I’m learning a lot on the job!!
Experimenting with many different parenting styles just to see what fits and sticks but I say all this to remind you that if you have someone raising a kid in your life...check in on them and if you’re a parent going THROUGH IT!!

TEA POT 🫖 🌱

Toddlers preferences really do change daily but there is nothing more stubborn than a breastfed baby.

For the longest time breastmilk & water was doing all the heavy lifting.
Personally,your girl was tired😂

Recently I changed her sippy cup to the weighted straw cup and suddenly the wasteful tea drinking habits came to an end.

Zhuri now requests her rooibos tea everyday and she finishes every drop!!

They have so many fun flavours for kids but lately the Organic Rooibos & the Very Berry have been a favourite.

What’s something your toddler refused in the past and totally loves now?

Why do they grow so fast?🌱

Realising how fast she’s growing had reminded me to document her more,take more pictures so one day we can look back at the archives and see how far she’s come.
