Welcome to Changemakers SRT.

The world of healthcare is changing at the speed of light, and is constantly innovating. How do we deal with global problems such as an aging population, the substantial impact of non-communicable diseases and the continuous rise of health care costs? A paradigm shift is needed in order to come up with effective policies and sustainable solutions. In IFMSA we believe doctors of the future should not stay focused on their specific domain, ignoring these upcoming global threats. As the Belgian Medical Students’ Association, we encourage healthcare students to collaborate on an international level and to look for solutions for upcoming worldwide health problems. We aspire to make medical students, who will be an important part of the future health workforce, future-ready advocates for health. This we will accomplish by enhancing their leadership skills and giving them important competencies in the fields of team-work, project management, public speaking and self-reflection.
