Has been nothing less than a roller coaster ride .
The calm comes from training at my home gym .

My second postpartum๐คฑ
How amazing this journey has been with my coach
6 years of building myself up strengthen training .
9 months of pregnancy again training .
3 months postpartum back in action full on with a bang .
Let me tell you this transformation so fast in literally 3 to 4 months postpartum has less to do with what i did in these 4 months and more to do with how Iv build myself after my first postpartum.
( Which was hard very hard )
And it has a lot to do with me working my ass off in the gym with baby z in my tummy.
With my first postpartum it was crazy for 1.5 years I had no idea if Iโd ever loose weight n look n feel like my old self .
Cut to this postpartum itโs been like a walk in the park ๐ not park but the gym .
As soon as I lost the kgs I really did start to feel like my old self .
Also I saved my self from postpartum depression too n Iโd give all the credit to the happy hormones released during work outs .
Have you had completely two different postpartum experiences ?
So far weight loss : 22 kgs

Let me tell you throughout my pregnancy I kept working out doing my breathing exercises stretching meditation all in the hope that maybe this time I have a VBAC .
But that dint happen it wasnโt meant to happen .
During my first pregnancy I was inactive stressed ate like mad , ate anything and everything and for the longest time i blamed myself for having a c sec ( maybe till my second delivery) I thought I dint do things right .
The second time round I pushed myself so much like literally did everything right from eating right to working out but things dint go the way I had thought.
Lesson learnt whatโs meant to happen will happenโฆ at that moment I realized beating myself up for my c section was the worst thing to do to myself for years .
And I never never spoke about it I never told anyone ever that I hated myself for not doing the right thing during my first pregnancy this also led to me dealing with severe postpartum depression.
I always thought well read is equally to well prepared but at this point I can say that no book ever ever prepares you for child birth.
No book will ever tell you that no matter how right you do things may not always go as you plan .
Itโs a life lesson which I learnt .
But the benefits of doing it all right bring a real big smile on my face today .
This postpartum has been nothing less than beautiful despite the fact that baby z had a hard time adjusting , we spent 5 months doing contact naps nap trapped literally 24/7 n itโs not a joke .
The old me the me after my first postpartum would have failed miserably with this child the new me did it all with so much calmness .
Very quickly I went back to my work out and yoga n I could be more proud of myself .

Usually when women become mothers itโs very natural for them to forget some important dates motherhood keeps your hands and head both occupied.
But what I see is fatherhood has the same effect on the mans brain ๐
Itโs perfectly okay that youโve been forgetting our anniversary this whole week lol ๐.
Clearly the lil one has taken over ur brain n we are both sleep deprived ๐
Nevertheless 12 years with you have been amazing a journey Iโm super proud of .

Pregnancy Exercise Benefits for Your Baby
Your baby gets a major brain boost :
Babies born to moms who exercised while pregnant have shown advanced neurodevelopment and have more active and mature brains.
Baby is less likely to be underweight;

Studies have shown that moms-to-be who exercise during pregnancy have babies who tend to show fewer signs of fetal distress during delivery.
Babies whose mothers exercise during pregnancy experience a number of developmental boosts, which may play a part in them being healthier and more physically active later in life.
All the above mentioned benefits are backed by various research happened and happening .
So working out staying active staying fit during pregnancy is equally good for your baby . And I think this alone is enough motivation to keep moving with your baby in the belly .
If you exercised before pregnancy, you can likely continue working out at the same level, just check with your doctor beforehand .
Remember to listen to your body if something doesnโt feel right, stop exercising and contact your doctor.
And if your absolutely new to exercise you can still do a lot start slow and you can work your way up .

Well lifting heavy ass weights during pregnancy is still not a thing in India .
You donโt spot a pregnant ๐คฐ women in gym very often .
I remember the first time I was pregnant I was going to the gym when I found out the first thing I was told is donโt go to the gym and like an idiot I did stop which I regret till date .
There was literally no encouragement from the doctor either n by the time I changed my doc it was too late to move myself .
Thankfully this time I knew exactly what my body was capable of doing and I had full support from my husband and coach and my doctor Dr Ritambhra .
So leaving a few initial days of crazy nausea which were even harder coz all the paint work happening at home n the last month Iv lifted happily.
Except my doctor and my coach I literally did not discuss or take advise or even listen to anyone that said stay away from the gym .
There are numerous benefits of lifting with that baby in ur belly keeping that for another post .
With this post let me tell you if your doctor allows itโs absolutely safe to lift or continue doing any physical workout that you were already doing .
If your starting something new then you definitely need to take it slow and do it all in personal supervision of a professional coach.

Not a weight loss or muscle gain transformation but definitely if you see through it itโs a lifestyle transformation.
The kind that stays with you lifelong .
In my first pregnancy I had literally nothing to do with eating healthy or tracking or workouts or even walking regularly for that matter .
Cut to 6 years later my second pregnancy.

Even though I have almost literally gained the same amount of weight this time too but I look completely different and I feel completely different and Iโm so sure we will have a completely different recovery timeline this time postpartum.
So sharing this coz I feel most people look at fitness with only two lenses one shows you weight loss the other toning and building muscle .
No denying thatโs what training in general does but it also does so much more than what people see .
It changes the way you live from being a couch ๐๏ธ potato to living a consciously active life is the biggest blessing.
From eating at anytime and anything to being a more disciplined person when it comes to food .
For valuing your life and health much more than you ever did .
For managing daily stresses of life .
For managing emotions much better .
There is so much that those dumbbells teach you for life .
Iv definitely come a long long way in my fitness journey and so can you just begin .

First let me begin with saying a huge huge thank you for all the love and support and encouragement that iv received I mean seriously for a big time introvert like me having a 10 people circle receiving so much love was overwhelming honestly beyond my expectations.

After I announced my pregnancy the first story that I put out about my workout to my utter surprise I got so many DMโs like that .
Itโs been over 5 years on this platform talking about postpartum fitness, fitness during after before pregnancy n yet so may eyebrows raised at me working out during my pregnancy .
Not making this one too long :
I have been working out since probably the implant stage of my pregnancy ๐คฐ I continued through out . Yes I had a rough month as well which was worse coz of the paint work happening at home so I took it easy on those days and as soon as I was better I hit the gym again .
Itโs absolutely safe to continue doing exercise if you were doing it before pregnancy with some mild alterations according to trimesters .
Thankfully I have the best coach who is supervising my workouts so all good .
Now whatโs not okay is to push yourself ,star something new ,not listening to your body , not consulting your doctor , not taking go ahead with your workout from your doctor ; working out unsupervised if your not an expert .

The brain has to be trained just like ur brain knows no matter what you get up and brush even if your in a hurry you donโt forget to brush you donโt forget to eat food you donโt forget to take a bath . These are small things that you begin to train your mind to do in discipline since your a child .
Unfortunately just as much as eating exercising is something most people are not trained to do .
But is it too later to train the mind no absolutely not .
It may be hard with age but not impossible.
You just got to practice it every single day without fail .
On bad worse horrible days just keep showing up .
Once it becomes a part of your life you wonโt have to make that extra effort.
And on the flip side you will think who are these ppl who never exercise i mean what do you do all day man doesnโt inactivity kill you i mean what how ?
Next time your having a hard time just focus on training the mind some discipline.
Focus more in your head than your body .

I dint mention holidays coz irrespective of what kind of content you create holidays always mean double the work as an influencer coz itโs clearly the most expensive opportunity to create amazing content n no one will let that go .
So when we are not posting itโs not a โ o my god โ why is she not posting .
Sometimes other things in life need priority sometimes your work tops the chart at times ur house at time you family your children.
At the moment the house needs my attention.
Iv mentioned it a lot of times I still have a dm full thinking Iv moved to another country or something lol ๐
Please know that Iโm very much in India in fact dint take even a single day holiday coz there is so much to do . The whole vacation went into getting the house transformed.
If was long long overdue.
Because itโs a big house n we are 3 humans and 10 dogs living we had to do it in phases .
With gods grace itโs almost done max one more week to go .
And those of you curious about my workout no I havenโt worked out in 3 weeks Iโm not guilty I had a lot to do .

Itโs not easy for everyone we are all different and so are our bodies .
Nothing has come to me easily I had to keep working on it like a stubborn kid who wonโt give up .
Itโs was one hell of a ride when I look back . I see people spend two months into training n acting like they traveled back from the moon .
No 2 months is nothing now looking backing i can say even 2 years into training is nothing.
There is so much to learn experience practice with your body all along living a life where you donโt starve yourself for weigh-loss but instead focus on nourishing your body focus on mastering the exercise enjoying the process .
I know itโs easier said than done but Iv done it and believe me no magical way .
I took a full year to slowly and steady change myself not just physically but mentally emotional.
To prepare not just my body for training but also my mind to stick to it .
If itโs not coming to your easily know that your not alone .
Everyone will have a unique different experience with training instead of comparing yourself to other peoples hard work n results itโs better to enjoy your own training with your coach and have faith in him and in the process .
You can do it too muma sooner or later just give yourself a lil time .
Motherhood ainโt easy certainly not if you donโt have much help but itโs worth all the pain so enjoy that n your training too .

Just wanted to post this and have it on my feed .
Technically this was the plan for my 10 th anniversary post but lil did we know no plans were going to work .
All we did last year was spend the day that I dreamt of since the day I got married lol in separate rooms isolated and sick ๐ท.
Anyways putting all the worst behind which is still hard for me I just donโt get over bad things too soon ๐ฅ
Anyways just wanted you to see how we looked when we got married real kids at 23 .
We have grown dear lord not just for how we look but also for how we see life as a couple how we see each other respect each other .
If I was to give any advice to married people it definitely be donโt think you know each other enough before marriage or even years after marriage.
The beauty of the relationship marriage is that it grows with time and you see each other in a whole different light at different stages in life .
The whole purpose of marriage is to be there for each other in health in sickness in good times even in bad .
And Iโm so proud of the relationship that iv build with this man here over the years . From studying together to being parents to rediscovering our lives after being parents .
What a beautiful journey itโs been MR sidhu .
And I wouldnโt want it any other way .

When someone says the word weight loss most of the time itโs assumed that the person is a foodie canโt live without food eats a lot and can practically eat anything .
What if I say thatโs not really true ?

Health issues
Disease
Physical injuries
Stress
The list is long for people who have a bad relationship with food and still gain weight .
Itโs easy to think that weight loss is challenging for foodies itโs a nightmare for people who donโt have a good relationship with food .
You donโt like healthy stuff ?
Now answering the above question ๐โโ๏ธ
B ) itโs been bad really bad for a major part of my life ( excluding my pregnancy) I give mehrabh all the credit to get muma to eat what she needed ๐.
Now by bad relationship I donโt mean I ate out a lot or I ate junk .
I just dint like eating in the first place I was picky had a limited menu dint like the taste of most things hated the term healthy .
So Postpartum weight loss was more than just lifting weights ๐๏ธโโ๏ธ
It was building a relationship a good one with food with healthy food .
Eating the things I never ate making fruits and vegetables a part of my diet like never before.
For the first time tracking water .
Tracing macros like I never did in my life .
Experimenting with cooking making my favorite food with healthy alternatives.
Weight loss is easy itโs the transition to leading a healthy life that takes time a whole lot of it and you need patience a hell lot of it to get there .
So I want you to know it will take time to build that relationship if you ever said donโt get me anything healthy on a menu donโt worry youโll get there .
