Hair appreciation post. This pics are old like from October. But I get so much compliments on my hair in person and in random vids where it’s not even at its best. But Khai’el gave me a lot of hair post partum even though I did shed my edges. But they are back and my hair is much more dense now it’s crazy.

September is ! Here is the first time I held my son, when he was 20 days old. He had switched from the oscillating ventilator to a regular ventilator and this allowed me to hold him from time to time. I didn’t get to do daily holds until he moved onto CPAP which I believe was a couple weeks later. Going through the NICU is a unique experience, even if it’s a short stay it totally wrecks you. Being a preemie mom u will always wonder why your body didn’t do what it was made to do. But I can say, 15 months later that looking back doesn’t haunt me as much as it used to. IDK if it’s because we’re now a year past his due date, but I am just eternally grateful to God for my son. He really is a special little boy. He is so loving and curious and he is perfect.
