Perhaps, back in high school, you and your dad loved going for hikes. For the holidays, then, you can offer to go for a long hike with just you and your dad as your gift. It won't cost you anything and your father will undoubtedly appreciate the time together. Or perhaps your mom has never been to a poetry slam but you strongly suspect she'd absolutely love it. Offer to take her and give the gift of a great experience instead of, say, another bottle of perfume.

You can’t do anything about this. The second arrow increases the worry unnecessarily because your mind adds more stress by taking the worry to the ninth degree. Cookie Dees’s Enjoy Busters!

BEET, APPLE &MINT JUICE
(Homeopathic Vegan Drinks)

1 sm. beet, chopped

5 carrot, chopped

1 apple, cored, and chopped

¼c. Fresh mint springs

Press beet, carrots, apple, and mint springs through a juice extractor. Stir and serve immediately.

CANTALOUPE & GINGER JUICE
(Vegan)

1 cantaloupe

2 inch piece ginger

Wash the rind of the melon (to remove bacteria). Cut cantaloupe in half and remove seeds.
Cut off the rind if it is conventional, if it is organic, you may leave the rind on (cutting the rind off increases the sweet taste. Cut into juice-hopper sized slices. Juice 1 to 2 inch piece of ginger; start with less and add more to taste.

Note: A one-cup serving of cantaloupe provides your daily requirement of Vitamins A &C, which are both excellent free-radical scavengers and collagen-promoters. Cantaloupe is also rich in Vitamin K, Omega-3 &-6 fatty acids, Potassium, Folate, Magnesium, B6, Niacin (B3), Thiamine (B1), and the anti-oxidant powerhouse, Superoxide Dismutase (SOD).

FRESH PAPAYA JUICE
(Vegan)

1 whole papaya Juice and enjoy!

Slice papaya into chunks and Remove the skin and seeds. Tip: Stick your papaya in the fridge before juicing so that your juice will come out cold.

Note: Papaya is also beneficial for Anti-Inflammatory, Cholesterol, Colon Cancer Prevention, Digestion Aid, Emphysema Prevention Of, Heart Disease, Protection against Intestinal Disorders, Menstrual Irregularities, Skin Diseases, Spleen Enlargement, Throat Disorders.

FRESH GREEN JUICE
(Vegan)

2 green apples, halved

4 stalks celery, leaves remove

1 cucumber

6 leaves kale

½lemon, peeled

1 (1 inch) piece fresh ginger

Process green apples, celery, cucumber, kale, lemon, and ginger through a juicer.

Note: Let’s get green together!! If you’re green inside, you’re clean inside.
