News of the day: CallensVyncke expands its strategic course – including novels fuels in the array of solutions – with a project that will blow your mind. 💥 An international industrial player requested a profound study to tackle the challenges on his site. Here’s what we suggested 👇

We’ve designed 2 boilers (+1 spare) that will burn the trans-fatty acids the customer has in excess, whilst respecting the extreme rigorous demands on NOx emissions. That means: emissions as low as 15 mg/Nm3 against an ammonia slip below 1 mg/Nm3.

The realization would be a first in the industry. 🙌 And we’ll guarantee its high performance with low emissions!

Growth in production = growth in consumption. The 2 MW gas turbine was no longer sufficient for this Belgian producer of milk products, so we helped them to level up.

Installing a turned out to be the most reliable solution, after:
☑ we mapped out the customer’s needs, in close collaboration with the customer himself
☑ we educated the customer on the various possibilities for his site
☑ we made real-time calculations and simulations
☑ we debated the technical challenges

The CHP installation is being finished as we speak and will soon function as the core of all the energy production.

Always eager to help out his fellow CallensVynckeneers with designing and drawing out complex systems. We do not only strive for a longterm relationship with our clients but also with our .

Sven has a degree in aviation and flew by CallensVyncke in 2012, landed and never left. He brought his cheerful personality into the team and took the lead in setting up a walking club. One of his other master skills is grilling to perfection.

👉 Enter the new era: CallensVyncke has just landed an innovative contract and will install its first in co-operation with its partner Elpanneteknik Sweden AB. This high power boiler system running on 11kV works by putting the 3-phase electrical current directly into the water. In fact, it creates a controlled electrical short circuit and transfers the instantaneously into heat without any loss.

Hello scrubbers! 👋 They have been successfully installed at a Belgian potato processor to undo the biogas of sulphur. Why is that necessary? Because we need clean biogas for the biogas engine that arrives next month.

When kicking off the entire plant, the engine will be producing 1,2 MW of electricity.

And that’s not all.

We’ve engineered the installation in such a way to recover an extra 1,1 MW of heat from the flue gasses and from the cooling of the engine. More return for the customer!

Ever heard of spark spread - the ratio between electricity and gas price? Because of “limited” fluctuations the last couple of years, the earnings for systems (yellow bars) were relatively stable. Considering the recent energy prices, however, this ratio might still be similar, but the impact of the absolute figures comes into play, with up to double earnings at moments.

💪 And that’s what’s happening now for our customers, more than ever. Obviously, they are still helping to reduce too.

✔️ With the right engineering, CHP installations can be equipped to use hydrogen as fuel, for example, and reach zero emissions over time
