Yet again Open Source Trio ‘s album Mirage is available on YouTube after it was flagged for copyright violation by some bot on our own official channel. Very annoying behaviour of the algorithms, but let’s hope this kind of thing stops happening in the near future… Btw did you know that the picture on the front cover of the album is one of the gorgeous mountains surrounding Geiranger fjord in Norway?

Viktor Benev’s musicianship and personality were always amazing, and I am lucky to have him as a close friend over the years, as well as somebody with whom to delve deep in the realms of being a musician- be it playing, discussing style and identity, mixing, music business or just have a beer and enjoy the song of the birds. Therefore I am extremely happy to see this raving review of his music, check it out!
