My new painting. I am still wondering if I should name it or keep it “untitled”. I have always wanted to illustrate and most of my artworks are based on illustrations. A piece of time, memories and slice of life are contained in illustrative works. Well this painting gave me an opportunity to put on canvas the characters and ideas I planned. The best part about the outcome is that we can all connect to the painting in our own way. I am inspired by a sreet scene from India where busy life goes on while the women are empowering themselves silently, which is reflected on each character’s depiction. Highlights : Extremely detailed painting. The bus from Madurai. Women with phool mala, the tea shop and the bus carrying people of variety! Also my favourite - the street dog.
