Business Continuity Planning brings many benefits to businesses, some of which are:

- reduces costs and duration of disruptions
- mitigates risks
- builds customer confidence and safeguards your reputation
- develops confidence within the business
- save lives, in dangerous situations such as fire

Professionals want to prove that they are qualified for some job or project, and organisations want to employ or contract only those who are qualified. Unfortunately, this has led many professionals and organisations to become obsessed with certifications. The media even promotes them by writing about “Certifications that impress recruiters”, or “Top-paying certifications”. [ 844 more words ]
