"Thinking Global, Going Global" is one of our missions in West African International Schools, Benin.

In partnership with BAU International Universities, situated in over 6 countries across the world (Turkey, Cyprus, USA, Canada, Georgia, Germany etc), there was an awareness seminar facilitated by the Staff of BAU Cyprus University at our Qtier-Jak branch.

Our students were given adequate information about academic and scholarships opportunities in any BAU University across the world. It was indeed an enlightening moment as the students freely asked questions.

On Saturday, 12th March 2022, the Igbo cultural group of the West African International School (WAIS) Bénin joined the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Women Wing in Bénin (NIDOWWIB) to celebrate their one year anniversary. During the students' excellent performance, the dignitaries and the general audience got on the dancing floor. It was indeed a proud moment for the school.

We do not only prioritize in-school learning activities, we also expose our students to out-of-school learning activities.

Last weekend Scholars 1.0 organised by Leaders Institute Africa, some of our students sat with the Former Nigerian Ambassador to Bénin amongst other International Experts in Education, engaging in several discussion such as 'Bilingualism/Multilingualism a vital tool for global relevance'.

It was indeed a wonderful time listening and learning from international experts in Education. We look forward to the Topnotch scholars 2.0 edition.

Valentine's Day can give kids and youth a lot of warped messages about love, and our job is to counteract those messages.
