These are the facts of your cutting board:

1. After using traditional cutting board for some time, the edge tents to grow mold or turning black. According to media, up to 600cfu/ml bacteria can be found when the cutting board is used for 365 days.

2. According to research, the mold contains large amount of aflaxtoxins, a toxic that can lead to acute poisoning, usually through damage to the liver.

3. One of the reasons for diarrhea during summer. After using the cutting board for some time, it leaves tiny cuts. This is hard to clean and makes a nice home for bacteria to grow. Ingestion of the food will then leads to diarrhea.

4. Most traditional cutting boards absorb juice from meats, including fish. The fishy odors is really hard to remove and cutting fruits on the same cutting board will cause the fruits to have the fishy smells too!
