This Mom thing is hard….

I have now been a mom for 18years… for the first 7yrs I did it al by my self while running a brick and mortar business

I find myself back in this same position but with 3 and working on my business that I now get to do from anywhere 💫

But holy moly I feel the whole weight of the world on my shoulders

I just want to say this Moms you got this I hear you I feel you!

I look at my almost 18 yr old and I did it! She is an incredible women and all those hard hard days endless tears paid off

Just having a day and wanted to share!

For those who get to experience being a step mom or a mother figure in a child’s life it’s a true blessing

It’s not easy being a mom
No one takes care of you when your having ur moments of wanting to break into pieces you just keep going and push down any feeling you may have because you need to be strong for your kinds

I have been there so many times.

My oldest daughter I was a single mom for her first 7years and now in December she will be officially an adult 😭😭

It’s so rewarding seeing her at this stage of life because all my hard work paid off and she has turned into an incredible human

We dedicate or life to our kids and somewhere in there I think most of us moms loose who we are.

We push our dreams and desires to the side because these kids suck us of so much energy

As a mom you are doing your kids a dis service when you do this.

You need to have balance

You need to balance you time and going after ur dreams and be present for your kids.

I am working on this balance as we speak! It’s important for us moms to be healthy in our mind, body and soul for our kids to grow up and be healthy in their mind body and soul

We often take things for granted and we complain about everything and we forget what being Grateful actually means

Last October I fell on my motorcycle and burnt my leg….. it put into perspective what we take for granted

Me: I'm falling apart. Can you put me back together?

God: No - you don't understand. You are breaking through. What you are feeling are just growing pains. You are shedding the things and the people in your life that are holding you back. You aren't falling apart. You are falling into place. Relax. Take some deep breaths and allow those things you don't need anymore to fall off of you. Quit holding onto the pieces that don't fit you anymore. Let them fall off. Let them go.

Me: Once I start doing that, what will be left of me?

God: Only the very best pieces of you.

Me: I'm scared of changing.

God: I keep telling you - YOU AREN'T CHANGING!! YOU ARE BECOMING!

Me: Becoming who?

God: Becoming who I created you to be! A person of light and love and charity and hope and courage and joy and mercy and grace and compassion. I made you for more than the shallow pieces you have decided to adorn yourself with that you cling to with such greed and fear. Let those things fall off of you. I love you! Don't change! ... Become! Become! Become who I made you to be. I'm going to keep telling you this until you remember it.

God: Yep. Let it be.

Me: So ... I'm not broken?

God: Of course Not! - but you are breaking like the dawn. It's a new day. Become!!!
