This is my homage to the genius of Chick Corea (1941-2021). I love this Humpty-Dumpty tune ! So cool chord progression and beautiful melody ! Chick was so amazing and prolific ! What a beautiful life !! Lots of amazing music. Thanks, Chick ! We are going to miss you ! This was recorded with a valve preamp made by UFRGS student Giancarlo Wallner Gaudio. Amazing sound straight to the console ! (via Mooer Radar, cabinet simulator) Essa é a minha homenagem ao grande Chick Corea, que nos deixou em 9 de fevereiro. Adoro esse tema, chamado Humpty-Dumpty. Uma progressão de acordes e melodia incríveis ! O Chick foi um músico incrivelmente prolífico e criativo. Essa gravação foi feita com um pré-amplificador valvulado, criado pelo Giancarlo Wallner Gaudio, um estudante de engenharia elétrica da UFRGS ! Obrigado, Gica ! Grande som !

Respondi que sim e que tenho uma relação muito próxima com canções desde sempre. Na quarentena, fiquei com mais ânsia de produzir música, ao invés de estudos ou exercícios típicos dos instrumentistas. Talvez uma ânsia por ter algo finalizado e pronto para ser ouvido como uma mensagem coesa... E não mais um exercício... Meios como o instagram promovem uma visão parcial e fragmentada da gente... WHY I USE OPUSMODUS SOFTWARE IN MY MUSICAL COMPOSITION PROCESS (Julio Herrlein) In this video I will describe some of the techniques I used in my compositional process and why I decided to use OPUSMODUS Software for compose music ! Also my experiences with Pure Data, Nodal Software and Lillypond before (finally) moving to Opusmodus (best choice for my style)... www.opusmodus.com 1.Opusmodus is code-based only. LISP code. You don´t have to connect patches, virtual cables, like in Pure Data or Max or connecting function boxes like Open Music, for example. In Opusmodus we have a big desktop with: a) a pane for all the files you want to pin (including PDFs, midi files, scores, a pane for the code, where you type your own LISP functions, the built-in functions and the OMN lingo - the Opusmodus representation of notes and pitches, like c4 d4 e4 for pitches and q e s, meaning quarter note, eigth note, etc…); b) a pane for function explanation with historical and bibliographic details (appears in my video) and: c) panes for representation of data like: piano roll, graphic plots for geometry stuff, MusicXML for snippets and full scores. It´s very clean, does not have any lights blinking, or timelines to edit waveforms. Alongside with LISP, Opusmodus have it´s proper syntax for representing notes and pitches, the OMN language. 2. Within Opusmodus, the print possibility of music notation is what is possible inside the MusicXML standards, wich is the de facto standard of industry, like Finale, for example. It´s very powerful and have the same inherent limitations of computer music notation. The great advantage is that you can easily transform any of your code immediately in notation. You can also make MIDI Input and transform MIDI messages directly in lines of code, like I did in another video, with my guitar MIDI controller. 3.
