The best part about this campaign is meeting Baltimoreans and seeing their enthusiasm for our city.
“We moved here and then after about four months we fell in love with it and said: ‘Well darn, this place is great! We aren’t going anywhere…’”
Ran into one of my favorite youth leaders at the Cherry Hill Music and Arts Festival. Sha'Miyae gave a powerful speech about the need for us to unite together as a city and village.
Baltimore’s young people are bold and brilliant. Don’t let their voices get overshadowed.

Proud to be out here knocking doors with the next Mayor of Philadelphia my friend Helen Gym!
She is running an amazing, hard charging, progressive campaign to rebuild Philly schools, improve safety and mental health. From Baltimore to Philly we are fighting for our cities!
Bill Henry was one of the first people I looked up to in Baltimore politics. He combines wonkiness with kindness and a genuine commitment to justice. So proud to have his support!
“I’m looking for people who know how to break down barriers and connect communities. Zeke is the kind of leader who brings everyone in the room together and helps them finds way to move the city forward at a time where we need that most.”
-Comptroller Bill Henry
Our Land Bank 101 Session was a success! Thank you to the amazing leaders who came to Baltimore to discuss their Land Banks with our community. And thank you to our attendees for your questions. In case you missed it, you can watch it here: odetteramos.com/updates/land-bank-101

Happy Mother’s Day to all! My mom gave us her sense of humor, storytelling ability and commitment to justice. My wife teaches our kids to be kind to everyone and pursue their dreams.
To all the Mom’s out there, we see you and we love you. Thanks for all the lessons you teach us.
The best part of my job is being a Dad. I learn something new from my kids every day. They shape my perspective as a Councilmember.
We need to be there for all kids. Every child deserves to grow up with love and support. Let’s build our village together.

I was proud to sponsor the first bill in Baltimore’s history to be signed at a Pride Parade. Our trans brothers, sisters and siblings are under assault across the country. I will always stand up for human rights and respect.
Join my campaign launch as we unite against hatred and bigotry. Let’s make Baltimore the most welcoming, inclusive city in America.

Baltimore is beautiful! While taking a walk in Highlandtown I stumbled upon La Casa de la Cultura which is currently featuring an exhibit of artists from Venezuela. The paintings and sculptures were gorgeous. Our city is a rich tapestry of people and cultures. We love it here!
Our HinJew family ready for a night out on the town! Watch out Baltimore… here we come.
Hello Neighbors.
BIG NEIGHBORHOOD WIN: Today Team46 (Senator Bill Ferguson and Delegates Luke Clippinger, Mark Edelson, and Robbyn Lewis) and I connected with the Mayor’s Office and determined that Patterson Park Pool will remain open this summer AND receive $2,000,000 worth of repairs following the summer season.
As many of you know, there was a concern that the pool would be closed for summer: There are significant structural issues that require serious repair and renovations. I want to thank Mayor Brandon M. Scott and Recreation and Parks for working with the contractor to push back the repairs. I want to thank our 46th Delegation for securing $3.5m in state funds to repair our pools and for advocating with me to keep it open. Together we sent a letter to Director Reginald Moore from Recreation and Parks imploring him to work it out so that the repairs could happen after the summer. I appreciate his responsiveness on this issue.
It is absolutely essential that we do everything within our power to provide a safe, joyful summer for our communities and our kids. Closing the Patterson Park pool presented a safety and equity concern. Many residents cannot afford to swim in a private pool, or travel to other parts of the city to access open pools. I also appreciate the advocacy that community members, PPNA and Friends of Patterson Park, did to make this happen. Your voices were heard. When we work together, we can accomplish great things for Baltimore.

I met Rich today.
“Hey man, I’m a Republican but I like how you show up for community. Can I knock doors with you?”
Our campaign isn’t about political party, it’s about people. And this is why I love our city.
Why live in Washington DC when Baltimore has the most beautiful trees in the game?
It also costs far less to live here and people are way more kind. And quirky.
Love our city.
Today I’ll introduce a resolution calling on the EPA to reverse its decision to send contaminated water from East Palestine to Baltimore.
We should not be a dumping ground for toxic sludge.
The decision to send at least 675,000 gallons (that's at least 20 train cars) of contaminated water to an already environmentally overburdened community is reckless. The EPA needs to live up to its mission to protect our environment instead of risking human health and safety.
The Back River facility where the toxic water will eventually end up has had numerous problems. Not the least of which being an explosion a few weeks ago. I have serious concerns about their capacity to handle the water after it is processed by Clean Harbors.
What happens if (God forbid) there is another train derailment while transporting the materials?
We stand in solidarity with the people of East Palestine. We understand all too well the long term costs of environmental injustice. But now is not the time, and our city is not the place to clean up Norfolk Southern's mess. Baltimore deserves better.
Happy Passover. Reflecting today on the story of Exodus and the years spent toiling in bo***ge and wandering the wilderness. Also reflecting on my own family’s story of survival.
I feel blessed to serve my city and raise Jewish kids in the place I love. Thank you Baltimore.
I am calling on City Schools to reverse their decision to restrict summer programming to four days per week.
Actions speak louder than words. If we truly care about safety, we must do everything in our power to help our children thrive. Not just survive.
nocking doors and schvitzing in the blazing hot Belair-Edison. A mentor taught me that campaigns are won or lost on the doors. You hear the hopes, dreams and frustrations of the people you seek to serve. Our communities are hungry for change.
Baltimore deserves better. Let’s go!
The overwhelming human instinct is to run away from danger.
But when that bell rings, firefighters run toward it to protect their communities.
We're investing in firefighters - so they can stay safe while doing their jobs.
