Greetings and salutations our merry mob of misophonic miscreants...

Misophonia are ecstatic to finally share with you the official artwork of our debut album, which is set for a fall 2023 release via Sliptrick Records, but first here is a brief rundown from the band on the artwork.

Conception to completion, the story so far…

Originally Jay (our overly goth tainted vocalist) was going to work on the album artwork, however November 2022 saw the band contacted by renowned artist and graphic designer Jobert Mello of Sledgehammer Graphix.

Jobert was known to some of us in the band due to being the artist behind a few minor selling Sabaton releases, the 1x Gold certified Coat of Arms, the 2x Gold and 1x Platinum certified Carolus Rex, as well as 2 live albums, World War Live & World War live : Battle of the baltic sea. Jobert was not only responsible for the above artworks but was also the brains behind a couple of killer Primal Fear artworks these being Unbreakable & Delivering the Black

There was no concept as such behind our artwork, Jay simply sent over a few random ideas, including colour schemes and logo ideas. From here Jobert made the work his own and what a work it is. Jobert could not have made us any prouder of what he accomplished for us and we cannot wait to see this in the flesh on the physical Cds

Another day, another update...

This time we have an album update

Misophonia are excited to announce our collaboration with renowned artist and graphic designer Jobert Mello of Sledgehammer Graphix. We say renowned as they are the artist responsible for multiple Sabaton album covers including the 2x gold & 1x Platinum certified epic 'Carolus Rex', 1x gold certified 'Coat of Arms', The Art of War, the two live albums, World War Live and World War Live : Battle for the Baltic Sea.

As well as having worked with the above they have also worked with European Power Metal legends Primal Fear and countless others from all over the world.

We were ecstatic to have been approached about working together back in late 2022 but we have only now been able to pull the proverbial trigger. We are aware we put out a post last week detailing potential album covers, these were Jay's own compositions and they were forwarded on as potential ideas, again we were gobsmacked to have been given praise for the designs.

So watch this space for sneak peaks, until then here is the back cover/tracklisting courtesy of Jay's morbid mindset
