Sinclair & Maggie
I can honestly say I love doing memorial artwork. Each piece that I create is special and even more so when clients share the stories behind the pets that I am drawing. In this 8x10in drawing is Sinclair, a cat who loved to chase stinging insects until her chin turned dark, yet never let that stop her from catching them. And her sister Maggie, who had a very circular pattern of thinking when it came to doing everything that dogs do.

The Appraisal
According to dictionary. com, appraisal is defined as “the act of estimating or judging the nature or value of something or someone”, and that is exactly what I am attempting to capture in this portrait.

This African Gray parrot is keen on keeping a close watch on any humans nearby and silently evaluating them with this signature expression.
