Qualtrics Survey | Bahamian Graduates Job Search Experience An effective way to understand the experiences of employment preparation, employment barriers, and employment needs of Bahamian individuals with disabilities who have graduated from college/university between the ages of 18-30.
Despite barriers placed in front of him, Mr Russell continues to work hard in his career, give back to the culture of the Bahamas through the arts of Junkanoo and will be honoured in December for his Junkanoo contributions. “I never gave up and I never let despair settle in because it is known for a fact that when a person gets into a state of despair, the only thing that can follow despair is death,” said Mr Russell.

Are you 18+ and a college/university graduate who job searched in the Bahamas with a disability since November 2014?
If so, consider participating in a research study on college/university graduates with disabilities who experienced job search between ages 18-30. Participants in this study will:
(1) Complete an online demographic survey for about 15 minutes
(2) Be interviewed twice for about 50 minutes each
If you participate in the interviews, you will be asked questions about:
(1) How you prepared for employment after graduating college/university
(2) Barriers you may have experienced while job searching in the Bahamas
(3) Your employment needs
