This past weekend PYL was invited to attend and participate in the UWI Bahamas’ Women’s Health Initiative along with the Rotaract Club of Nassau Sunset, what a conversation we had!
We left feeling ready to address our own challenges with ensuring we practice self care!
We even had a small breathing session with one of the professionals.

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to learn and represent at the Youth SDG Forum 2024.
It was refreshing to interact with the high schoolers, who are delighted with the progress the Davis Administration is making regarding youth in The Bahamas.

PYL is grateful to have had the Hon. Keith Bell M.P., Minister of Housing and Urban Renewal, join us at our General Meeting to discuss first time housing opportunities. His insight on navigating the path to homeownership were invaluable, ultimately encouraging the engaged and excited young people present to become financially prudent with these words, “If your outcome exceeds your income, then your upkeep becomes your downfall.” 🏠💰

On Sunday, PYL hosted an official pinning of the 2023-2024 executive board. We were elated to be pinned by Chairman Fred Mitchell and Deputy Chair, Robyn Lynes. Additionally, we elected a delegation of 20 to represent PYL at the upcoming National General Convention.
