The LUMPYVAC, L*D vaccination has been started (23rd August 2023) and in full swing at National Mithun Breeding Centre, Arong under Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag. The 50 % of animals were covered and expected to cover 100 % the next day.

The feeding trough for the confined Mithun animals (calves) was constructed on 21/8/2023. The prime purpose of the construction is to fetch with clean fodder grasses and to minimize the fodder wastage..

The Construction of Bio-security chain link fencing (629 running meters) at NMBC, Arong has been completed and handed over to the management by the contractor after strict physical verification and measurements.
