Today we thank the Bhutan Police, Dasho Colonel Pasang Dorji and the team of Officers for visiting our college to talk about 'Crime & Drug Related Issues'.

As the young adult group and the future of Bhutan, we truly understand the importance of taking responsibilities of our societies and the issues among us.

Today, We pledge to take up responsibilities in shaping our country by supporting the nation's effort towards zeroing drug issues and other criminal offences.

The faculty and the students were honoured to have received the two Guest Lecturers on the campus talking about 'Special Economic Zones: A Path to Creating Opportunities and Prosperity for the Young Generation'.

The speakers Dr Andreas Baumgartner, a highly regarded expert in the SEZ industry and Dr Titus Gebel, an International expert on next-generation, privately operated special economic zones, did share the following:

1. SEZ's definition and its success stories,
2. What makes SEZs successful,
3. The evolution of SEZs,
4. Benefits SEZs can bring to Bhutan, and
5. Opportunities for the Young Generation in SEZs

As a school of business management, the enthusiasm of the young learners for such an economic development tool (SEZ) was seen overwhelming through an endless questions popping from the audience.

While the competition was fierce in volleyball, basketball, and football, the College of Science and Technology secured a victory in the women's volleyball and Archery matches where by our home team displayed their skills and prowess in the other sports. Congratulations to all the teams for their remarkable sportsmanship and a exciting tournament!

Shriyash is the founder of Martian, an AI research company. He has previously conducted research at the NIH and the University of Pennsylvania. His work has been published in ACL (the top conference in natural language processing), and he has started 2 AI companies prior to Martian. He is interested in the educational applications of AI and in understanding the theoretical foundations of how large language models operate.

About Martian:
Martian has two arms. The education arm builds educational applications using AI. Their software has been used by thousands of students at top universities like UPenn, Stanford, and MIT. The research arm works on fundamental research to understand what's happening inside AI models. This research helps to make AI more efficient, understandable, and safe.

Bhutan fields shutlers Anish and Jimba for Asian Games debut National shutlers Anish Gurung and Jimba Sangay Lhendup from Bhutan Badminton Federation (BBF) are training in Thailand to intensify their preparation for the much-awaited Asian Games (AG) later this year in China.

Brief:
In a Visual Identity System, several design elements work together to form a strong set of tools to ensure a consistent and unique look for a brand. Together, these elements are referred to as the Key Design Elements. GCBS has also gone ahead to keep the old logo design elements and incorporated them into the new design logo. Each element is designed to contribute to a holistic system that strongly reflects the brand. While each element creates a visual impact on its own, they combine to create a look that is uniquely GCBS’s future. The section will describe each of these elements in detail.

Further, the students are reminded to plan their itineraries cautiously and follow travel advisory.

1. Reporting of 2nd & 3rd year and Bachelor of Software Engineering students: 22nd 23rd July
2. Online Registration for 2nd & 3rd year students: 17th – 20th July
3. Fee payment & Confirmation of Registration (on Campus): 24th – 25th July
4. Re-assessment Exam: 24th – 26th July
5. Regular class for 2nd & 3rd Year: 26th July
