What is Climate Change?
Long-term changes in temperatures and weather.
Why is it an issue?
This has led to an increase in the frequency and intensity of extreme weather events. Eg drought, flooding, extreme heat.
Does this impact our food & environment?
Too much rain leads to crops & plants rotting. Extreme heat makes it difficult to grow food to feed ourselves and our animals.
Freezing temperatures stunt plant growth.
Special thank you to Botswana students at Maru-a-P**a School for their tireless work even during school holidays
