Gaborone Inclusive Cycling pictures.

Cyclists kindly join us tomorrow in Gaborone-Game City mall as we will be having last of 3 Inclusive Cycling Events. We will be cycling from Game City mall to National Stadium.

Lobatse Inclusive Cycling pictures.

Botswana Council for the Disabled and Inclusive Cycling International will be having their third public awareness event in Lobatse on Thursday 30 March 2023.
We will circle and ride from Lobatse Town Hall, down town, going through the new mall and ending at the Lobatse Stadium.
Join us tomorrow for 0830 start.

This past weekend we had a 5km inclusive 👨‍🦯🧑‍🦯👩‍🦽🚵‍♀️ downhill ride 🚵🚵‍♀️, in Kanye.

Community leaders, government officials even the police also joined the party and ensured that we had a smooth ride through the busy streets of Kanye.

Yesterday we had a fun ride at CBD Gaborone.

The day was full of Inclusivity 🤌, excitement and joy 😄for each person who attended the event, participants got the chance to use special designed bicycles for people with disabilities 👩‍🦽🧑‍🦽 & a tandem, so we were able to get two women who are blind riding too.

𝐖𝐞'𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 Botswana Council for the Disabled (𝐁𝐂𝐃) 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭.

The event scheduled is as follows; 25th March in Kanye, 30 March in Lobatse, and 1st April in Gaborone.
The public awareness campaigns will address two primary objectives being:
- Motivation and encouragement of persons with disabilities to participate in sports.
- Appeal for more civic engagement and active participation of persons with disabilities in politics.

We will provide BCD with non-adaptive bicycles and maintain both adaptive and non-adaptive bikes during the event.
