What an honour and a privilege it is to be involved in the creation of a project like this! We just won a Jackson Wild Award (equivalent to an Oscars in Nature and Wildlife films) for best Original Music Score! ...and we did competing with legends! Flashback and gratitude; A Celebration of Trees
Thank you Alexander McCall Smith, (the amazing author behind The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency), and producer Mats Ögren Wanger for giving me the opportunity of composing the music and visuals for the beautiful Baobab Tree poem, alongside song writer / folk-singer extraordinaire Tomeletso Sereetsi.
A shoutout to the students at Lilla Akademien (and teacher / leader Matthew Petersen) for composing and performing such amazing music for the other Poems!
Thanks Softube for supplying me with great tools for mixing and mastering the final production!

It was such a blast and such a pleasure to be part of this project! I loved every moment of it and had the privilege to collaborate with so many creatives, not the least to be able to play and record with musicians from Botswana, Kenya, South Africa, Morocco, France, along side the amazing film crew Okavango Wilderness Project and production team from National Geographic.

This brother of mine is called Mikael Rosen. This Maun-based Swedish native who is mogwe wa ko Mahalapye ko diponeng has been my creative partner in crime since Four String Confessions. Together we have co-produced Sereetsi & The Natives two albums. He also played drums, arranged strings and engineered the works. We will certainly be working on the next chapter together.
