Message we recently got from Bakang Maloka. Today will be their first day training and games shall begin on the 23rd

Lefatshe le romile our most valuable jewel Rre Bakang Popo Maloka (back) le Rre Boago Malobela (front) go ya go re emela ko metshamekong ya di unibesithi ko lefatsheng la China mme ka jalo we bid them farewell in those games and we're keeping them in our prayers as they travel to and from China. We are hopeful of getting a tarred road ko Moshupa as a dedication to Mr Maloka provided he scoops up a medal at those games so keep your fingers crossed bagaetsho.

The management of Nhabe Table Tennis Club (NTTC) invites you to a one day open table tennis tournament. The tournament is a national ranking tournament, sanctioned by the Botswana Table Tennis association and shall be held on Saturday 1st July 2017 in Gaborone at SIR SERETSE KHAMA MEMORIAL JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOLARS

1. System Of Play

MEN AND WOMEN SINGLES: Groups to qualify for the ladder.
-The system of play may also change due to attendance

2. Eligibility

- Table tennis clubs, Individuals and interested parties are invited.
- Teams and Individuals from the following Associations are also eligible to participate in the tournament; BOPSSA, BISA, BOBSA, BOTESSA, PASSOBO, and Special Olympics.



3. Registration

Registration Payment Cash or cheque in favour of Nhabe Table Tennis Club to be paid not later than 30st June 2017 before 1600hours. NO LATE REGISTRATION/PAYMENTS SHALL BE DONE AFTER THE CLOSING DATE & TIME.

The leadership and management of New Horizon Table Tennis Club invites you to an open table tennis tournament hosted on behalf of the Botswana Table Tennis Association. The tournament is a national ranking tournament and shall be held from 29th to 1st May 2017 in Gaborone at a venue to be announced.
The tournament shall feature the following events and categories;
• Cadets(Under 15 years) shouldn’t reach 15 by 31/03/2018
- Boys & Girls Under 15 singles
• Juniors (Under 18 years) shouldn’t reach 18 by 31/03/2018
- Boys & Girls Singles
• Youth (Under 21 years) shouldn’t reach 21 by 31/03/2018
- Boys & Girls Singles
• Elite (open to all ages)

• Teams (Open to all ages; 5 players per team) Maximum 2 teams per club/ but non club teams allowed
- Men & Women’s team event.
All entries are subjected to the ITTF laws, Rules & Regulations with reasonable exceptions to court size, lighting and before and after match procedure. For age categories, certified copies of ID documents should be produced in order to avoid any queries.

NB: Deadline for submission of entries is Friday 28th April 2017 by exactly 2359hrs and the deadline for all payments is Saturday 29th April by 0800hrs. There shall be a P50.00 penalty for late registration per entry for any event in any category, where registration is submission of entry plus payment.
SYSTEM OF PLAY
Shall depend upon the number of entries.
NB: All doubles and teams shall compete in one, elite, category. …and that a team may be any three players of the 5 team members, whether they are from the same or different club/school.
HOSPITALITY
On Day 1, lunch will be provided for free to all participants of any singles event. On Day 2(&or 3) however, they will be provided at a cost of P20 per person per meal. No accommodation nor transportation will be provided by the club, therefore, you are advised to make your own arrangements. Bottled water, drinks and snacks will be on sale as well throughout the tournament.
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
Detailed schedule to be forwarded upon receipt of at least 50% of the expected top 32 ranking players or at least 50% of all the events has had at least 8 entries, whichever occurs first. However, Day 1: between 0700hrs final payments, warm-ups and draws will be finalized. By 1000hrs, we expect the first games to have started. Day 2 main feature is the final matches and award ceremony that is if we have more entries than expected then they will be in Day 3.
