The outbursts of Ken Agyapong over monies he has donated to NPP as a Party and some individuals within the Party smacks of nothing but blackmail.
Ken has over the years boasted of donating vehicles to NPP as a Party. He, however, fails to talk about what NPP has done for him. The numerous contracts that have come his way and his wife are shelved.
Ken will definitely destroy the NPP Party if he is made the PC and eventually wins the Presidency.
He has insulted the National Executives on several occasions as being stupid. He goes further to insult Government appointees who give contracts to opposition members. It will be suicidal, therefore to elect Ken as the flag bearer.
Does Ken have a chance to win the 2024 elections? The answer is a big NO. He has problems with so many people, individually and collectively.
Ken is always bragging about his wealth. How many Ghanaians can he feed in a week with all his wealth? How many of his employees are millionaires? He has been buying cars to some Party communicators so as to win their sympathy. Lawyer Adomako- Baafi is mentioned by Ken of being a recipient
of his benevolence. But Adomako is not a man who would sell his conscience for a pittance. Only people like Agya Koo
and his ilk would.
Abronye is confused by the vehicle Ken gave him when he smashed his car in an accident in 2020.
From the look of things, it's clear that Ken will form his own party in the not distant future because he will not be endorsed by the delegates.
Bawumiah will definitely be elected as the flag bearer. He is the only contestant to break the "
8". Any true NPP delegate who wants the Party to win the 2024 elections has to vote for Dr Bawumiah. He is liked by everyone. Chiefs, the clergy, the youth, adults, the poor and the rich all over the country. He is knowledgeable, hardworking and competent.
Nana Addo has raised the bar of
International respect to a level which can only be equaled or exceeded by Dr Bawumiah.
Contestants must not be fooled by the following they get when they visit places. The people who follow them want their money. They don't support them. They are only interested in their money.
There is a vast difference between the genuine supporters of Dr Bawumiah and those of the other aspirants.
My humble advice to the other aspirants is that they must concentrate on telling delegates their visions and how they can win the national elections for the Party and desist from the mudslinging and name-calling.
This is only a family feud. Insults and insinuations must be avoided.

The NPP, the ruling Party in Ghana is aiming at breaking the '8' in the impending 2024 elections. Else where in Africa, the political thermometer would have been at the lowest degree. The situation in Ghana is very different. Politics is perennial. Journalists cash in on politicians massively with some enjoying wanton riches and ostentatious living with mansions and expensive automobiles.
Politics has been monetized to the extent that honest but financially sound people are denied the opportunity to serve their Nation.
There are flagbearer aspirants who habour the belief that they can bulldoze their way with their wealth to win the votes of delegates with money.
If the Party wants to remain in governance after 2024, delegates must ensure that they elect the person who has national appeal.
Though all the aspirants may be capable, one stands out shoulder high above the lot.
Dr Bawumia has endeared himself to the people of Ghana so much so that his name is a household word. His competency, knowledge, humbleness, hardwork, visionary and selflessness make him the toast of many Ghanaians.
Nobody can point to any corrupt act he has committed while in office as compared to a Vice-president like John Mahama who took advantage of the sitting President and milked the the nation callously. His botched STX deal cost the nation over $300 million. Then followed a plethora of scandal, inter alia, SADA, guinea fowls, tree planting, bus branding, Kanouze contracts, Saglemi housing, Kumasi Airport, Kwame Nkrumah interchange, gold theft, Karl power/Ameri deals etc.
Let no aspirant believe that he can buy the votes of delegates. Delegates must vote for the candidate who can win for the Party to break the 8 and not the one who bribe them.

Yesterday the Vice President of Ghana Dr Alhaji Mahmud Bawumia respectfully informed the Majority caucus in parliament of his intention to contest for the Party flagbearership.
This is not surprising to anyone. Majority of the parliamentarians has already thrown their weight behind the VC.
There is no doubt that it is only the candidacy of the Economic guru that can make the NPP break the 8.
My worry now is not about Dr Bawumia winning the primaries in November. My main worry is his safety from now to his election as the President of Ghana on 7 December 2024.
In the past, opponents of NPP have tried on many occasions to eliminate him by various means, both physical and spiritual.
Prior to the 2012 elections, he was met with gunshots when he went to Tamale to campaign. The tyres of his vehicle were cut by his opponents which resulted in a near fatal accident on his way back to Accra.
During his visit to Bolga, prelude to the 2016 elections, his secretary got electrocuted at a hotel in Bolga. The place was booked for the VP initially but was later used by the secretary who got electrocuted when he tried to use the pressing iron at the hotel.
Bawumia was suddenly attacked by an unknown illness which made him collapse in public after the 2016 elections.
With temperatures surging between the contestants for the Party flagbearership, opponents may try dirty tricks on the life of the VP and put the blame on his opponents.
This has been done on many occasions to NPP.
The then Regional Chairman of the Upper West, Adam Mahamah was brutally killed with acid and Gregory Affoko was used by the perpetrators to hide their crime.
I will therefore advise whoever is in charge of the VP's security to be extra vigilant. They will do it and blame Kennedy Agyapong.

The cry of the opposition NDC since 2017 has been "oman no mu Ayeden".Yes the country is going through economic challenges. It's not only Ghana that's in this situation. All countries including the big economies, US, UK, Europe, China and Russia are all reeling under the devastating economic tsunami.
It's ironic therefore for a failure like Mahama to promise Ghanaians better times when he is given the mandate to be president again. God forbid.
The world prices of petroleum products were at their lowest during his time, yet he couldn't pay for gas to power the generators. Out of the get-rich attitude, Mahama and his cohorts, created, looted and shared the spoils of corruption.
Let's compare sector by sector under Mills/Mahama 8 years rule against Nana Addo/ Bawumiah 6years rule. Take Education, Health, Roads, Railways, Aviation, Agriculture, Fishing, Sports, Power, Water, Security etc. It's vividly clear that the NPP performed better.
The current high national debt is not the sole creation of the current administration. The previous Ndc government moved the debt from Gh 9 bln they took over from Kufour to 121bln, an increase of over 1347%. In percentage terms, the NPP debts ratio is just over 500%.
Many insane international and local contracts were signed by Mahama which had to be settled by the current administration. Over 33% of the current debts by the NPP is used to pay for Mahama's debts, almost Gh200bln.
The Karlpower and AMERI dubious deals, which were unnecessary, had the Ndc been circumspect, is milking the economy over $500 million per annum.
So how would the Ndc convince Ghanaians that they can perform better than what the present government is doing?
Ghanaians cannot afford to trust the economy in the hands of the Ndc. Not in the foreseeable future.
The prevailing economic situation is worldwide. It's only that ours is politicized while others are not.

The violent posture of Mahama and the entire national executives of the Ndc is a cause for concern. What is more worrying is the fact that the most "violent", the Chairman, Secretary and National organizer all have foreign linkages. The Chairman has his roots from Cote Ivoire where his brother holds a political position as alleged by Abronye DC and which was not refuted. The Secretary has affinity with Togo, and the National organiser is of Lebanese origin.
All of them can run to those countries when they set Ghana ablaze. They all have Diplomatic passport which can take them to anywhere they choose to go.
I am therefore calling on the Ndc youth, especially those in the Zongo communities, not to allow themselves to be used by unscrupulous politicians to cause mayhem, before, during and after elections. Those who have sworn to shed blood to win power in 2024 must use members of their families to shed their blood and not other people's children.
Why should elections be "do or die"?
The Ndc know very well that they do not have the numbers to win any elections in Ghana. All the elections they have won were all by default.
In the 2008 elections,which was won by a margin of about 40 000 votes, many anomalies happened. Ballot boxes were snatched from polling stations and replaced with stuffed boxes at some polling centers. Ballot papers of strongholds of opposing parties were destroyed by dubious means. In the 2008 elections, the spoilt papers exceeded 300 000, as against the winning margin of about 40000 votes. In the 2012 elections, the spoilt papers exceeded 700 000, with numerous incidences of over voting, including those from foreign countries. Verification machines used in NDC strongholds of the Volta and the Northern regions were tampered with and elections were repeated the following day leading to double voting and massive manipulation.
The attempt by the current EC to sanitize the electoral system has met strong resistance of the Ndc because the channels they use to steal elections are being blocked.
Let all and sundry realize that the cost of election violence is enormous and devastating. Those who lost their lives in the previous died a stupid death. Their paymasters are enjoying with their family members with their dogs enjoying sumptuous dishes than what their sisters and brothers enjoy at school and homes.

The aspiring flag bearers of the Ndc have been vetted by the party.
The question is, was it a smoke screen or a genuine vetting?
Some grey areas the vetting panel should have sought explanation from Mahama are the Airbus saga and that of the slay queens.
Failure of Mahama to give cogent explanation should disqualify him outright. He must explain why his brother has refused to come to Ghana to face the law. Also the part he played in the Airbus saga leading to his brother's appointment as the main agent to the deal.
What role he played which led the brother acquire Ghanaian citizenship to form a local company and why the company disbanded immediately after the deal.
Ndc must realize, before it is too late that Mahama would have to explain himself before the law in the not distant future.

I was extremely sad when I heard ex-President Mahama insulting those who told him to refund the ex gratia he has enjoyed. The posture of the Mahama on the occasion showed an inebriated helpless soul gasping for breath.
He found no sense in the argument those asking for the refund are making yet his arguments are as infantile as they senseless. The analogy he drew regarding refund of paid school fees and FSHS can only come from a confused and dishonest man.
How can Mahama change the Constitution on his own without the support of Parliament?
Can Mahama tell us what he knows about Airbus. Why has the brother failed to honour the call by the SP to come to Ghana?
What help did John offer his brother to register a company to dupe Ghana?
Mahama has caused a great harm to the people of Ghana. He should be wallowing in jail instead of aspiring to be president again. It is unfortunate that the NDC as a party does not see the nature of person they are yelling for. The man just loves money.
JDM does not qualify to stand as a flag bearer of a party. His deals with the Burkinabe contractor, who won contracts to build the fence wall of the Ghana Embassy at a whooping sum of $600 000, and other juicy contracts personally awarded to him by Mahama without tendering.The bus branding scandal, the plane that was grounded at Istanbul airport which took the president to negotiate for its release and many shady deals he made all point to Nsawam. The man is just too bad for Ghana.
This is a man who signed off about 50% of our bauxite deposits to his brother and awarded contracts to his contractors without tendering after he had lost elections.
Is Mahama, who is contemplating the abolition of ex-gratia not the same man who spent huge amounts of money to buy expensive mansions for slay queens?
We can never forget.
