Inauguration of the Emerging Pakistan Display Centre

Pakistan Federal Minister of Power Engr. Khurram Dastgir Khan inaugurated the Emerging Pakistan Display Center established at the Embassy of Pakistan in Minsk-Belarus. The delegation from Pakistan was received by H.E. Sajjad Haider Khan – Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Belarus at the Embassy for a briefing session prior to the Pakistan Belarus Joint Ministerial Commission which is scheduled to be held in Minsk from 12-13 January 2023. The inauguration was also attended by Mr. Zamad Khan – Representative of BACP (Business Association for Cooperation with Pakistan) for Belarus.
It is worth mentioning here that back in October 2021, the Ambassador has acknowledged the efforts of Mr. Jawad Rehman – President BACP and his team for the arranging products from top brands of Pakistan for the ‘Emerging Pakistan Display Center’ which has been established at the Chancery premises.
The Ambassador opined that success of this venture will prove immensely helpful in the introduction and marketing of Pakistani products in the Belarusian markets, leading to an increase in national exports.

Mr. Khan G. Director BelPak Trade House and representative of Business Association for Cooperation with Pakistan BACP meets with the High Profile business delegates from Pakistan who took part in The largest industry event of the Timber Industry held at complex in the Republic of Belarus - the international specialized exhibition "LESDREVTECH".

This exhibition has been held for more than 20 years. The organizers are the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus and RUE National Exhibition Center BelExpo. All forestry enterprises of the country traditionally participate in the exhibition. Mr. Khan deeply discussed the possibility and mechanisms for promotion of Timber Export from Republic of Belarus.

President BACP Mr. Jawad Rehman Slehria along with Mr. Zamad Khan G. Director of BelPak Trade House (‘BTH’) visited The Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Minsk, Belarus. H.E. Mr. Sajjad Haider Khan – Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus welcomed the guests. Both sides discussed impact of Russia-Ukraine crises with particular emphasis on bi-lateral trade between Pakistan & Belarus and the impact of sanctions on bi-lateral trade. The parties further discussed ways and mechanisms for promotion of trade, handling of logistics issues, banking channels, working of display center in Minsk and promotion of tourism industry. The Ambassador appreciated the efforts of Mr. Rehman and Mr. Khan for the promotion of bi-lateral trade between the two countries.
