The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration, and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.
To me, it represents “new beginnings” which is why I opted to have my father’s cremains put inside of this lotus necklace. I miss my dad every day but take comfort in knowing that I have a piece of him very close to my heart. I’ll love you forever, my sweet Dardy, thank you for always being my angel on earth and now in Heaven.
