We found a hidden new gem……The Taproom by Caribbean Fusion Brewing Company.

Tucked on the backside of the island, this new restaurant and brewery is beautiful, comfy and has some great original brews on tap. PICKLE BEER?!!!!

We talked with our lovely server, who said the owner is from Texas and has been in Caulker for a long time. They have been open for about three months and also have a music jam on Friday afternoons.

We love to get “off the beaten path”….explore….you never know what you will find!

Just north of the bridge is The Farmhouse Market & Cafe, San Pedro.

It’s a great place to stop for fresh veggies, local treats, a coffee and even lunch!

The new natural flavored teas are DELICIOUS! Pictured here are the blueberry and raspberry black teas with a couple of their delicious sandwiches.

Looking for something fun to do that is not in the sun or water?

Check out Level Up Barcade. They have recently moved into town on the lagoon side.

They hosted us for our staff Christmas party and did a tremendous job.

The food, service, and fun was all five stars.

The upstairs area can be reserved for private parties and is adults only! You can head on downstairs to play skeeball, basketball, pool, and plenty of arcade games from the 70s and 80s, including PacMan, Donkey Kong and Galaga.

The owner told us he is planning a few comedy nights and has two scheduled the end of this month, with comedians that have been on Improv.

We were humbled to be nominated for San Pedro’s Small Hotel Of the Year; our front desk, Adrian Gongora, to be nominated for Front Desk Person of the Year; and Joe Pate for Bartender of the Year.

Joe took home the trophy last night. Congratulations Joe!

And although Adrian and the Hotel did not win, we are honored that many of you nominated and voted for us.

Congrats to all the winners! It was a great night of celebration.

We are looking forward to another terrific high season!
