Every year families struggle through Christmas, Even myself and my partner Wayne have to. Sometimes you bear the embarrassment and for your kids to turn for help. Langley Christmas Bureau was one that helped my family on several occasions years ago.
Now we are in the position to give back to those who helped.
I really want to encourage people who have had the help and are now in a better place to remember the roots of where they came from and to donate locally. There are so many single parent families struggling explaining tp their kids this year how Christmas is going to be different through no faults of their own.
Sinister Logistics sponsored a family this year, probably best described as over and above what we were supposed to de. We are filled with incredible amounts of joy after delivering everything to this young struggling mom. It was VERY clear that she was struggling this year.
My point here is we are not seeking recognition but to make people in my age group that have struggled be aware there are so many families that did not get help this year and if you are seriously interested in donating to a local charity that is concerned about families and not profit and paychecks......
