BIGGEST Lash Extension Myths!

Don’t Get Your Lash Extensions Wet:

The only time you should refrain from getting your lashes wet is 5-8 hours after your initial full-set or refill appointment! After that it is essential to clean your lash extensions daily with oil-free cleanser & lukewarm water.

Lash Extensions Damage Your Natural Lashes:

It is not extentions that damage the natural lashes. It is poor application along with poor aftercare & lash picking! Make sure you are doing your research and going to properly trained technicians and you are following aftercare properly.

Fall/Winter Lash “Shedding”:

The colder weather approaching does not affect the cycle of your natural lashes. The main factors that affect lash cycles would be hormones, new medication, pregnancy, & auto-immune diseases. If your lashes start shedding more than normal it is either from picking the extensions or the extensions did not have good atachment at the time of application.

As you can see on the left my lashes are unbrushed and the fans are closed because of the natural oils on my face. It almost looks like it’s time for a fill in the coming week

On the right my lashes are washed👉🏻 rushed👉🏻and dried. The fans are open and fluffy and the lashes look super clean and fresh!
